I have been to Pompeii. While I was there, it NEVER crossed my mind to take anything. Not even a pebble. There is such a heavy feeling of grief there. Why would you want to hang onto any of that?!
I mean no offense. I understand why Simon isn't here anymore and I was really getting used to Carl. I am, however, really having trouble with this new guy (and not because he's not English). His delivery is an obvious script read where Carl makes it seem more authentic. A suggestion for this new presenter: change your camera angle. Don't talk up to it. Stand up and connect with your audience at eye level and also, when you "riff" try to make it more natural. I hope you do well. Also, there is absolutely no reason to listen to me but I felt I had to say something

However she was having difficulty balancing it and the rest of her life which led to friction between her and Simon. They agreed to sever contract and go their separate ways. Pompeii is intense. Definitely worth the tour. Just walking through the city is amazing, they have lead pipes all over the place for water and the brothel/bathhouse wall art was particularly fascinating. Glad I never took any tiles 😂
If you do Italy is a great choice. I recommend renting a vespa and picking a direction at random. Not on a Sunday though, barely anything open, including rental shops 😆

I agree. The eye angle makes him look aggressive, like when you see two boxers staring each other down. It isn’t an inviting start to a video.
