At the 4.00 coming from the right on the roundabout, you can go either into the left lane or follow round into the right lane. Note the right lane doesn't become a lane until after the turn. Unfortunately the Tesla was legal. A friend had an accident there under the exact same circumstances and was charged with failing to give way. The police explained to him why.

Gotta be in front at all costs, in a hurry to get somewhere, someone calls him out on his shit driving and then he suddenly has all the time in the world to roid rage at them. I wonder if that person was night blind and got confused by all that flashing red and amber lights. He appears as though he was unable to tell the distance... If there had been some blue flashing light among it all... that might have been different.
One thing I want to say about car accidents... don't hang around on the road.... climb over the guard rail and get out of the way of oncoming traffic... It is not a perfect world ... people might need assistance... but even a car parked in the lane blocking oncoming traffic might not be good enough protection.

Yep - that last clip..two trucks hogging both lanes, despite the mandatory keep left unless overtaking rule, thus frustrating drivers and contributing to accidents.

It's astounding to me how many videos I see of people stopping for a crash that's in front of them and just sitting there instead of pulling _past_ the blockage and then stopping to render aid or whatever. I see it over and over and over in videos from every country. Personally, I hope I have too strong a survival instinct to willingly do something that dumb.
With the broken car pushed across into their lane, how long do you think it would take for someone else to plough into it? DC sitting there with hazards on provides at least _some_ warning

It should be compulsory for motorbike riders to be organ donors. Personally, I don't ride anymore because there are just too many people who have absolutely no idea how to drive correctly. Buses are much safer and less stressful.
I gave up after 35 years...too many 4 wheeled boxes tried to kill me and I wasn't ready to pop my clogs just yet.

Regardless, traffic exiting a driveway must give way to flowing traffic and not force their way in.

Looks like Audi raced ahead using the turning lane to merge in front of the truck instead of settling behind. The Truck Driver probably used his air horn and the Audi driver need to have his say at the next roundabout.
There are a lot of men in this world with ego issues who walk around like gunfighters, two canoes, watermelon carriers, 5 foot 18 tall etc. or with bit of meth / roids in their system. Many of the above coincidentally just happen to be smart arses as well with a quick mouth. They are not much better than male dogs going around sniffing each other's arseholes.

The Tesla changed lanes in the roundabout without signalling. And the lane change was unnecessary as it could have easily used the right lane of the road it was exiting into.
@@wandpj The inside lane of this roundabout starts about half way through the right turn from the Teslas perspective, he/she was in the same lane as when they drove into the roundabout. If you look at the beginning of the clip you can see the painted island and the lane marking beginning after that. The other sides of the roundabout also only have one lane around. (was curious so I looked at it on Google Maps - Pacific Motorway at Wyoming.) I also did a quick Google, the locals were also complaining about the changes that were made to the roundabout) I've never seen another roundabout do this (nor is it signed as having specific lanes/directions entering the roundabout from any side) so its a strange one. Understandable mistake to make.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no legal requirement to wear footwear when driving in any State or Territory of Australia.
That said, there is a requirement to drive safely, which is a catchall clause that includes footwear must be fit for purpose.... there is an insurance factor in all this...In an accident, did your footwear impede you ability to drive safely.. things like a plaster cast... broken thong strap....Moon Boots too large and wide for the pedals... 7 inch Stripper Heels .. if that is your thing etc.... might be considered impediments to safe driving
I drive barefoot 99% of the time. Nowadays, being semi-retired, I traded the steel caps for flip flops. Personally, I am very against driving in flip flops (thongs) or slides.. That said, one of my V8 sedans has normal rubber pedals, the other has those perforated metal sports pedals, which some days sh*t me off when driving..... I have been meaning to buy some comfortable stick-on grip pads for them.
@@andrewsmith8729I wear thongs most of the time, just in general. When I go to drive and I'm wearing thongs, I'll just take one off and drive with my bare right foot (auto so no clutch pedal).
Agreed that thongs are a hazard - way too easy to get tangled up with a pedal and suddenly not have proper control of your vehicle anymore. And it's not ideal to be sitting there barefoot without some sort of slip-on footwear, unless you're completely comfortable running around barefoot in a crash.

Truck drivers in overtaking lane going slow, while getting overtaken by a truck on the left . Typical truck driver thinking they’re in the right.
So, are you saying the overtaking is in the wrong for easing off the throttle when the ute pulled that stunt, hit the barrier with the trailer, and fish tailed in front of him? The truck in the right lane should have eased off for safety, and of course the truck he was overtaking is going to re-emerge into view under that circumstance.
