That first Joker face reveal with the music buildup and the crescendo was just INSANE to experience in a theater. o.O I don't know that I've witnessed a stronger character introduction ever.
Seriously, I saw it in IMAX with my grandparents when I was 15. The whole movie was wild but that element of the big screen and accompanying big sound made it incredible.
Senator Leahy having a cameo in this always cracks me up (he's the old man Joker threatens at the party). He loved Batman as a kid and was so excited to be an extra in the film.
Just to expand on this, he did a lot more with Batman than just loving it as a kid. While being a US senator, he wrote the foreword for The Dark Knight Archives in 1992. He wrote the preface essay for Batman: Death of Innocents in 1996 which talked about the horrors of landmines (I believe he bought copies for every member of the senate and maybe all of congress and had them placed on their desks during debate for anti-landmine legislation). And then he's appeared in several Batman movies and done voice acting for some Batman cartoons as well. And any money he made or continues to make in royalties is donated to the library where he learned to read as a child. Dude's pretty awesome.
I didn't like batman a few years ago but when I was in college between 2010-14 I had to write a paper on the Dark Knight. I got the DVD from the library and took it back to my dorm. I didn't think I would get through the movie but the more I rewind(listened) took notes I started to enjoy it more and more. The paper was a piece of cake because I took so many notes and understood more about the movie. I forgot what I got on this paper but I will be forever thankful for the assignment! This is one heck of a trilogy 😁😁
I saw this movie in an IMAX theater and when the Batmobile said "INTIMIDATE," those explosions made you flinch in your movie seat. It was pretty awesome. ....and intimidating. As much as I love re-watching this movie, nothing has compared to watching it in IMAX. Every now and then a movie REALLY really benefits from a high tech theater experience. Star Wars. Harry Potter. Mission Impossible. Batman The Dark Knight.
Fun Fact: 5:05 in this shot in the background, there’s a poster for Spider-Man 3, because they filmed the movie in 2007 when it was out, so this could count as the first ever DC & Marvel crossover
I had JUST finished watching your reaction to the first batman film and was upset that the reactions to the next films werent out yet, but here we are now and I'm so happy again lol
Well, Joker is canonically known for sometimes going for the gag instead of the kill. Even he sometimes doesn't know if he's gonna hit you with a bat or a dead fish.
At first I was like “Why is there two of the same “The Dark Knight” then I realized in the title says (Part 1) and I was like “Oh okay, it’s a 2 part video”.
This is a very good movie, very good. But when I saw Deebo was in it at the end, it lifted this film into true greatness. Rest in peace big guy - you were the best!!
12:10 he’s sleeping through the business meeting because he stays up all night fighting crime 😋 I’m sure someone else posted this but I haven’t read the comments ✅
id like to see your reaction to "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" if you havnt already done it i watched that movie at least once a day every day for a year, always love to see how others interpret it
Bruce Wayne millionaire, playboy, filantropist, *top ninja* 😏 Nobody sais that about Batman.🫰 PS: Waited for part 2 to get out to watch this because I can't wait!😁 PS*: Joaquin Phoenix is the only one that does a just competition to Ledger's Joker.👆 Outside the animated ones ofc.😉
Although you probably already watched it I'll try not to spoil anything technically didn't die and it heath ledger hadn't passed away, he was supposed to be a foil to the joker in the third movie
Hey Guys!!
Finally it is up 😅 Hope you enjoy this video! Link to Part 2 of this reaction here: ua-cam.com/video/XNsiac2YRrA/v-deo.html

23:38 In this scene, The Joker scares Alfred and he forgets his lines
Christopher Nolan is known for his love of practical effects. Yup, they actually flipped that semi.
The behind the scenes about that stunt is incredible 😂

I still have the DVD and I bought it at Books a Million before COVID-19 hit my hometown in March 2020.
I've seen Two Superhero films that transcend the genre and achieve true greatness. This is one of them. And the other is Batman related.
25:06 - "If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice."
Great reaction so far. Love how much joy you get with this
How Heath Ledger Solidified his Acting Supremacy ❤RIP

your reaction when the tumbler transformed into batpod 🤣🤣🤣
You made Hong Kong, Paris, and Greece on my must see list!
The enough from the clown spawn reference is too good to ignore

Just found you, instant sub. Your charisma and reactions are so captivating.
Awww thank you so much
In the mob boss kitchen scene the most dangerous person in that room is not any of the mobsters, or the joker it’s Michael Jai White 😂
I used to think that just because he's Yoked! But, I had no idea about him being basically a human weapon.
She said “ohhh Rachel” @ 24:30 but her expression was really saying “ohhh Rachel you dumbass.” 😂
You know it!!!
The rest of the people had grenades I’m sure, so the Joker released sleeping gas via the banker after the guy decided to be “brave”

@@JakkFrost1 For a second I thought you meant 🦇 and was very confused...

Hiya. Love your reaction. Mark Hamill did the Joker's voice in the first and second (i think) Arkham game.

Big facts.
RIP Heath Ledger
RIP Tiny Lister
Please make reaction video on George Clooney as Batman in Batman and Robin movie 1997

Would love to see you react to Kingdom of Heaven, Calypso. (the director's cut tho, muuuch better than the theatrical version).
I strongly recommend the '66 Batman movie if you need a fun movie that will make you smile.

I don't know why but I spent a good 30 min trying not to die laughing at you worrying about the fish.
Haha I swear my priorities are straight!!!
I don't think I've ever seen anyone get quite to hot-and-bothered about Batman. 🙈😆
MY KHALEESI

That entire truck and trailer flipped over, not a model.

29:03 what did you say here? I'm sure it must have been a curse word, but am interested to know 😂
I'm pretty sure it's just Yahtzee.
You should review Star Wars!!!
Masterpiece
Wow
Is this a re-upload?
Yes it is but it is now uploaded as two parts :)
🎉🎉🎉
You know these Feelings for Batman are very confusing for half the straight community overall…
The other bus drivers were joker goons and that's why they never batted an eye when the bus pulled out of the bank
So do they get a share or did joker kill them too? Lol that doesnt make any sense.
I don't think so. Unless I've missed something, there's absolutely nothing in the film to indicate that.
Batman the dark knight rises movie reaction please 💓💗💖💞🤘
Coming today!!
