Sure makes my day when I see the notification for your videos! Awesome editing..... that rear tyre is sure on its last legs. Look forward to next video! Thanks Brad 🙏🏻

@@bikehikesafari I just finished reading your blog on the Te Araroa Trail ! Thoroughly enjoyed it ! I was going to ask you if you were planning on writing a book....I got my answer in that blog. I'll be on the look out for it ! ;-)
Another awesome episode. How in hell did that back tyre last as long as it did on gravel roads and under load. I felt I had a lot in common with that old tyre being both beaten up and ragged.
Cheers, I know that feeling all too well. I know what it feels like to be old, worn out and ready to be discarded or recycled.I guess we can just keep going until we break.....
Hey Brad. I started with this video. Since it was so good, I’m going to start watching from your first video thru to the last. Before I get to the later videos, I’ve got to know what happend to your rear hub? Thanks for these awesome videos! Will
Thank you for the kind words. I had the hub checked by a well respected bicycle mechanic who told me that it is nothing to worry about. When I take an extended break from bicycle touring I'll get in touch with Rohloff to see if I can replace the seals and bearings just to be sure.
What happened with the play in your Rohloff hub? Have heard Costa Rica is a good country to visit. Your videos are well shot and edited. Thanks for making.
I had the Rohloof hub checked by a well known bike mechanic in Colombia. Possibly some problems but should be ok. I'm currently hiking a long distance hiking trail in New Zealand so I'll get it checked by Rohloff in the new year.
@@miroslavsafin Mexico was great, with the exception of the very large cities. And of course Colombia where cycling is their most popular national sport, second only to football.
Man this is my dream to do this. I really enjoyed the video brother. Ill check out others. I will be doing this in the future. Love CR. Pura vida mia

Hey Bruce, the rear tyre only lasted a couple of more days before it had to be replaced. Now I have fresh new tyres, let's see how long they last.
BikeHikeSafari fresh tyres for Columbia 👍🏻

Good sir, how did you find what routes to take and where to camp?? I plan on doing this at the end of this month!
Awesome video like usual! Have you ever thought of doing an Europe trip? The Swiss alps or anything like that?
I really want to hike the Kings Trail in Sweden, a couple of the caminos, the Pyrenees high route, Iceland and many more.
Your videos are mellow, hope you are well.
Cheers thanks
Great job! Thinking of spending a week cycling in Costa Rica later this year. What were your favourite places?
The coastal route south the the Nicaragua border. Cycle touring gold.
@@bikehikesafari Sweet, I'll take a look into that, thanks!
How r u not absolutely shredded considering how much energy u use each day?
Too many tacos and coke is cheaper than water
