Cool brother. Thx for making it easy. One note is that each compressor comes with 2 different extension coil cables and one has the correct connection and other does not. That was the only part that was tripping me up. Otherwise great video!! Thorough and quick.
Extremely helpful! I've never even owned an air compressor, never mind using one, but with teh help of this video, I successfully assembled my Viair 400P RV and just finished blowing out the water lines in my 2021 T@B320S. Thanks so much!
This looks great, but I have a question. I do not see why you have to use the inflation gun in the system. Why not use the regulator right off of the compressor? Needing to pull the trigger on the gun outside the RV while opening faucets one by one inside the RV is not really practical for me. Thanks!
Does the kit only work with a Viair air compressor or is the quick disconnect universal to all compressors?
I have viair 88p model, I have inflated tires, can it be used to blow air on small parts, like weed trimmer carburetor. Thanks

I purchased mine separately when I bought my compressor from TechnoRV.
I bought the 400P-Automatic, not the RV model because I didn't see that one. Is there any reason the winterization kit won't work with the 400P model as it appears to be the same compressor and gun.
VIAIR Winterization kit will work with 400P-automatic but you need to modify the tire inflation gun to the RV tire inflation gun. Call our customer service support team for the parts you need. at 800-618-1994
Is the main reason this can't be used with other rv/rvs models is because they don't come with the air gun?
Yes and and they don't come with the internal pressure switch.
So, I just purchased this VIAIR 400P-RV compressor advertised as an "RV waterline winterization compressor" and I open the box and there is no winterization kit that comes with it and no real-detailed instructions whatsoever? I wonder where this starts making any sense to spend so much money for getting an incomplete kit? ...And about this video...you're just telling the audience that they need to do something, but not really demonstrating anything, if you're going to do a demo, you need to show that it works with the compressor connected to an RV's waterline, not to an imaginary one and telling people how much of a miracle your product is when you're demonstrating really nothing.

I also just purchased this VIAIR 400P-RV. Despite spending $350, it did not include the regulator described in this video. Had to purchase separately. More importantly, yesterday I could not get sufficient air flow rate out of the VIAIR to blow out my RV. My $80 Kensun worked better! Therefore, I am returning the VIAIR. Great product for filling RV tires out on the road. Poor for winterization.
I agree. I've purchased two of the winterization kits, one the knob turns but no air comes out whatsoever. The second one, the knob turns but not the same as the first one, just seems loose. Air with virtually no pressure is coming out. Haven't found a video yet that actually turns on the compressor and show the adjustment with the pressure regulator.
