I’m getting to the point where a Nutsac is going to end up on my “need” list. I’ve seen/read a handful of reviews and everyone talks about the superior build quality. I need another job to increase the income, there are too many bags out there. Thanks for the great review, sir!
I have the NutSac 11 for EDC. I got the rucksac for those times I want to take my laptop. I absolutely love the rucksac. It’s turned out to be really versatile. I’ve even packed everything I need for a weekend at the cabin, and it’s perfect for taking everything I need for work, including my tech carry bag from peak design and my camera. Hands down my favorite NutSac.
I love the satchels from Nutsac and have two of them. But as a backpack I'd have to go for the GR1 Heritage edition specially since it is only $30 more. BTW George, if you have the dimensions of a bag, you have the LT size too. Multiply the dimensions, A*B*C= cubic inches. Divide cubic inches by 61 and you get the LT of the bag. This Nutsac is 20 LT and I would prefer the 26 LT of the GR1. Great video though man, whether I like the bag or not you still keep me spending money on bags. Keep up the good work.
1st off great review. 2nd I love how well thought out the design this bag is & even though for some as in you not feelin the leather & brass latch at first will understand will eventually come to love cause there is a reason why they designed this great old school/futuristic bag the way they did. I actually love the leather & brass latch cause it’s simple, not some cheap plastic clip/snap & very stylish, slim & streamline. 2nd I love the draw string opening at the top which can be closed to hold something on top for quick access like a hat, sun glasses, beanie, or left open so you can get into the main compartment easier. The draw string opening is also there so incase it rains it keeps water out, dust, dirt I’m telling ya that draw string opening is usually only found on hiking out doors rutpacks so it’s dope to find it on a EDC bag. Also like you said & noticed the leather bottom which keeps the life span going cause the bottom is what always wears out first so nice to see the leather bottom & then you have all the obvious like the many pockets & what not. But you’ll find that the draw string opening has many benefits as they added a quick access zipper. Would like to know if they have other colors to choose from? I’m definitely gonna be ordering one of these nutsacks for sure. I dig the old school look and materials mixed with the well though cutting edge hybrid design of a day bag & outdoors rutsack in one.
I use a NutSac MBD for my fly fishing stuff. I use the NutSac 11 for my Ipad, work and every thing else. The quality is unsurpassed. I hate this video. Why? Because now I have to go and buy this rucksack. Great video. Mahalo!
I use a tacsac 13 for my field tool bag. The Moller strap on the rear open pocket is the main feature that I use. All in all, I need to reorganize it and find some smaller tools to make most advantage of this.
I have the Nutsac Satchel and I love it. This bag isn't for me but I love the materials they use. Waterfield makes some pretty awesome bags in waxed canvas too. The Bolt Backpack looks comparable to this. GoRucks new heritage waxed canvas bags look interesting too.
That closure requires stuff right inside behind it, I guess. If you look up NVA POUCH, you can find a vintage system that is quicker and less hassle, and lasts forever.
Do you think this bag would fit under an airplane seat? I am looking for a good office-carry option that will also work as a 'personal item' when air traveling...some backpacks are just too big. Not sure about this one.
Thank you for yet another excellent review, George. It’s a very nice bag but not really my cup of tea and it has to be my favorite tea for me to shell out $365!. I don’t think I would get any backpack that didn’t have some curvature to the straps. That sort of thing reminds me of bags from 20 years ago so that turned me off right there. I have a few backpacks and I’m always up for trying something new but I seem to always go back to my Mystery Ranch or Osprey packs when I need something to carry my stuff well so I think I have become a Mystery Ranch / Osprey guy.The only other comment I have is that a company with a name like that, nutsac, should not even try to use terms like double entendre. Just be happy that people are remembering your name for one reason or another, guys.

Hello George, I really love your channel!
I’m very curious, what are you 3 most favourite EDC bags?
Thanks!
I got a video coming up on my "user" bags 1. Evade 1.5 2. GR1 3. Recycled Firefighter 4. Able Carry Max
Thanks George!
That closure requires stuff right inside behind it, I guess. If you look up NVA POUCH, you can find a vintage system that is quicker and less hassle, and lasts forever.
I really hope you develop your own bag line. That’s something I would buy! As always great review!
Man.. That's a dream of mine..

I think so but look at the dimensions..

If you're thinking waxed canvas, you've got to check out Millican and trakke. They're killing it on the waxed canvas heritage style bags
I have had a Millican pack but I haven't tried Trakke yet..
I like the bag BUT the messenger bags from NutSac are where its at.
01:52 1,235 cubic inches equals to 20.2 liters 😉
Excluding side pockets
