I am posting here, as I am in hopes that it will be seen by you, a opposed to older videos. I don't really have a need for this video as I don't use Windows 11 (but I'm sure many do), but have used your tutorials in the past, and found them some of the best that are out there. One of the reasons that I'm posting this it that I'm finding myself logging-in to UA-cam less and less frequently. I use ad-blocking software and YT is getting more and more aggressive in battling this. May I suggest to you, to get (if you haven't already done so) an Odysee account as an alternative to YT, just in case things change. It's always nice not to have all your eggs in one basket. Subbed and Liked ... keep up the great work and good luck !
Yes, this shares with the full network. To share with one computer, do NOT turn off password sharing. Create an account on the host with a username and password you would like to use for the share. Add that account to the security settings for the share and the folder. When the one computer tries to connect, they should be prompted for a username and password. Use the credentials for the account created above, and they should be able to connect. To disable their access, remove the account from the security settings, and remove the account from the host computer. This if from memory ... if anyone recalls an additional step that is required please reply and share!
I have been searching high and low for a tutorial like this, thank you so much!
