Worst part is, that after this incident, Dr. Charles is nearly killed by the psychotic Jack Kellog. He couldn't even rest after everything with Robin on this episode

"Unprecedented"? The conflict between Charles and Rhodes in the last episode was Rhodes trying (and succeeding) to get robin out of a psychiatric hold that Charles put her on because *he* expected this.
Unprecedented means that they’ve never seen anything like it before. (Probably not true but hyperbole for the title.) You’re thinking “unexpected”.
This is the first time I've seen reese as the rational one ahd Charles as the irrational one it definitely felt weird.
I am not an avid watcher of the show, but it was definitely refreshing seeing her not acting so stupid.

in the episode before this, Dr. Rhodes has been trying to take care of his girlfriend Dr. Robin Charles, the patient in this clip, as a surrogate for the mentally ill mother he lost to suicide as a child. Seeing her at the end of the previous episode on the balcony of his apartment, panicking that she's surrounded by rats, on the verge of jumping to her death, is supposed to echo his mother's death.
