Appreciate the clarifications. Definitely things in here I didn't realise or had not run into yet, so this is really helpful. Saved to watch again as needed :)
Great video series, thank you! There are so many different nuances within the rules, but everything still feels balanced and fair - it's an amazing ruleset!
From what I read on the mcp forum, the window for field dressing (when you are forced to pass because you have no activation left) is only available if your opponent still have an other activation after. When your opponent finishes his last activation of the round, it goes straight to cleanup.
@@Sectux Bitter rivals can't be played on a dazed character, no. It is still in play on a dazed character if its played on that character before they are dazed, but can't be put on them afterwards
Their are some dependencies, but in short yes. When a character is being thrown, you ignore the character doing the throwing for collisions. Now this only works if the throw doesn’t state ‘away’ , but if that isn’t there, then you can pick somebody up one side of you, and throw them ‘through’
I still get caught out by when an active tactic card can be played... Think I get caught when they aren't the "active character" and keep assuming you can't do it. Hopefully it'll stick this time...
@@RichMidGaming the one about what happens to the attack when the attacking character is dazed or koed by an effect befor the attack is completely resolved. I always figured the beam would still hit everyone but that is not the case.
For rule 11, would that work with the Asgardians leadership as well? If all my models are dazed or activated and it would be my turn, i get to heal a model and then pass? Or does it require an activation to work? (Sorry, i don't have my cards with me)
I'm not 100% sure. The character spending the power doesn't need to be the one who's activation it is, so if I had to guess I would say yes - but I would check on the forums to be 100% sure

Omg i need that infinity gauntlet!!!
It maybe one of the prizes in the upcoming quiz…maybe 🤷♂️
These are so helpful, thankyou! I finally have my core set so looking forward to finally trying the game out, hopefully on Monday!
These clarification videos are really useful, I can read the same thing multiple times and still come to multiple conclusions.
Definitely going to have remember these for future battle reports! Thanks for this video!

The dazed characters doing things is the one I have forgotten before
Be careful here, you can't have dazed characters doing things. Measuring to a dazed character isn't them doing something
These are great! Thanks
I really like these video series, very entertaining and informative. Keep them coming, and keep up the great work.
Cheers Jason!
Thank you for this video! It’s great to share with new players and veterans alike!
Glad you enjoyed it!
another solid video, these help alot mate!
Great content as always...looking forward to the live streamathon! Good work and very useful!

The wording I used is directly from the forums - but I think you may be right
Really glad you said about dazed characters and lockjaw. Did not get this with Medusa and royal decree… now it makes her even more mobile!
yep - as long as the rules doesn't state 'non-dazed' then anything goes!!!
@@RichMidGaming it’s a tricky one at first. But that even bitter rivals can target a dazed character can make that a real nasty card…
@@Sectux Bitter rivals can't be played on a dazed character, no. It is still in play on a dazed character if its played on that character before they are dazed, but can't be put on them afterwards
@@Thoras1 yeah. Bad wording on my part. More that you can play it on someone, daze them, and it’s still in effect… as you said.
Thank you for this
cheers rich these vids help a lot as there is a lot of rules in this game lol
Hello. Very Very good video !!! I have one question: can a caracter throw an enemy behind himself (like for exemple Hulk with his M throw) ?

Yeah - it’s one of the ones that always used to get me, particularly Field Dressing…..it usually resulted in my day being ruined!
It's amazing how much I can forget lol.
Good vid. Thx
The beam rule until it was clarified
Which clarification?
@@RichMidGaming the one about what happens to the attack when the attacking character is dazed or koed by an effect befor the attack is completely resolved. I always figured the beam would still hit everyone but that is not the case.
@@darkcow7of9 ah, ok - yeah, I covered that in my Beam video!

Yes, it can be used in that situations for the non-dazed models(the dazed models can't take advantage of it for several reasons)
@@Thoras1 cheers for the confirmation!
So a dazed character can play field dressing on another dazed character as long as they haven’t activated and are within range?
No. Dazed characters can't play team tactics cards
