Beautiful tone . It seems like every day I find another guitarist who is an awesome player . In a way it’s depressing to see all the talent in the world that goes basically unrecognized. In the old days someone could have thought they were the knees bees in the talent department. In today’s world that notion can get quickly dispelled.
thanks for your nice posting by the way I completely agree with you, I feel the same way, so many amazingly good guitarists out there, especially nowadays I have the impression that they know no limits, if you couldn't watch them play you wouldn't believe it
As you might have noticed, I'm not exactly the youngest anymore. I bought these fret wraps a few years ago when they came out because I wanted to know if they would help me. Since then, it's been hanging on my guitar. I didn't even notice that it was on top until you pointed it out to me. I simply forgot about it. Incidentally, I don't think that with the way I play, the normal picking technique, it even makes sense, so you're right. I don't need it. But what does "not good enough" mean? If that were the case, I wouldn't need to make a single video. Today's guitarists are more like acrobats and with these techniques, legato tapping, I can imagine that the fret wrap is helpful, but not for me. I do it more for fun. Best wishes
@@6string860 To me being not good enough would mean it would sound different(sloppy) without it compared to with it, Isn't it better to play it sloppy at first and get better? That is part of the fun
I agree with you, but I left that stage behind me in the 70s. I mean, these aren't solos that are that technically demanding; they're melodic and just awesome and rely a lot on the sound. It's different with guitar acrobats like Matteo Mancuso, who is amazing despite the wrap.
Yeah, sounded great. You've really got that 'axe' singing. 🎸
thank you, I'm glad to hear that
Great playing and nice guitar!
thank you very nice
Well played. Sounds really good.
Thank you
Amazing!
many thanks

Great job!
Thank you
Great tone and feel! A little loose with the timing in several places, but really great cover, man.
thank you for your constructive criticism you are right I noticed it too
@@6string860 You're welcome, mate. It's a fantastic song to cover that. Wish I could do it half as well as you. Gary Moore forever!
Just work on the timing otherwise sounds good.
Thank you
Take that stupid training wheel off your axe, fret wraps suck
ok, now I know that you think they suck but what I don't know and what interests me is why you think they suck
@@6string860 Don't you want to learn your instrument without a crutch? It's embarrassing, I get it if you are not good enough,
