I did see the infomercials on those ferns, and had a feeling they would not look like they were portrayed. But from the street it looks fine and adds color. For the summer you could add a little Lemonade sign to the wreath. I would just mix the Asian ferns with the Hobby Lobby ferns . Trust me the site will offer you 20% of what you paid and will tell you to keep them. I have learned that lesson before! Being gifted free patio furniture is a God send for sure. Love how the porch turned out. Looks so rural America!!! Those great blue plaid door mats are the perfect pop of color.

I love the fact that your garden and the things in it are not perfect. So many UA-camrs have homes that look worthy of a magazine spread 24/7. The plants that you are calling begonias are actually geraniums. Excellent job, Kristen!

To be honest Kristen, most of us cannot do everything all of the time. As the seasons of life pass you will be able to do more and more. Eventually, so I’ve learned, you might be back to not being able again. Take it as it comes and never feel bad about it.

It's so beautiful, Kristen. Good job. Be careful of that trampoline. Our pediatrician told us there is actually a kind of broken bone that they call the "trampoline break.". I know the kids have so much fun on them, but watch out. Enjoy your gorgeous yard. This was a great video. It really inspired me to get out there and get our yard looking good.

I bought the same patriotic banners for my railing. You may find that the cup hooks actually when the wind blew they would fly off so,we opted for zip ties that worked perfectly. Congrats on your new addition! God’s blessings to you and your family!

Sweetie, the flowers in the clay planters are geraniums, not begonias! Your porch, patio and yard look wonderful.
Begonias are more of like a succulent - leaves are juicy like ( Mrs Ed)
I noticed that also haha. Begonias are my fav flower and I plant them and geraniums every year. 🌺🌸

What a beautiful transformation! Your yard and porch look so pretty, I love your home! It took us 2 weeks to do our wrap around porch, seal the deck, power wash the patio and all around the pool. Then we had to bring all the furniture down from the barn and scrub it all. Then plant and decorate. I know how hard you worked and it looks beautiful! Those ferns look so nice in the baskets. I've learned my lesson ordering from Facebook ads, ugh! The flowers in the pots are geraniums. Great job, Kristen! ❤

🙋♀️ I’m that girl, too! I have the same baskets with fake flowers. I only feel bad when a hummingbird try’s to do her thing! I think it looks awesome especially once you doubled them. I’m tired of buying real flowers just to see them die. It looks amazing, love the finished after!

Everything came together perfectly! Good choice on the ferns. They really look real! The bark really refreshed the planters and the placement of the furniture is so comfy and inviting. Four babies and you look amazing! Hopefully you can slow down now and relax!

When my kids were little and it was a hot day, we’d put a sprinkler under the trampoline. It’s like a splash park.

I love your front porch. The bunting looks great. You can leave that up until Labor Day if it lasts. And all the plants. I love the hanging baskets. My porch is small just enough to stand and get into the house. I would love one as big as yours. I love the fake ferns. I’ve never been able to keep them alive even in the house. I’m going to try and talk my husband into expanding our porch longer in front. We have a window close to our front door. But he could extend it the other way. And the in a few years we can cover it. And then screen it in. And it would be perfect. There are way too many bugs in Georgia where we live. And I don’t want to be eaten alive if I sit out on the porch. And you have grass and plants. I have rocks, weeds and mud. But I would love to have grass. I had my great grandson visit this week. And he doesn’t walk yet. But he wanted to get down on the ground. But we have pebbles and weeds out front. So I let him stand for a minute. Then I had to brush his feet off. I’m not much for working outside when it’s hot. But it usually cools down in the evening. And then the critters come out. So we would have to fence the front yard the rest of the way. I’m not working out there and have raccoons and possums come visit me.

Beautiful job! This is the first year I switched to fake ferns. As much as I love the look of the real ones, they’re just too much work and messy to water. I think they look good enough, especially with all the real flowers around the porch. The patio looks great too. Enjoy the summer. Best of luck with your new baby!

You can put a little dirt in on top of the foam and that will stop your ferns blowing away 👍🏻 your doing a great job 👏 and raising a family and growing a baby ❤️❤️❤️

BRAVO, Kristen, everything looks absolutely wonderful and so inviting! You've done an excellent job! I use fake ferns outside all the time. One thing that helps mine to stay steady and in place if it gets very windy or rainy is to add some soil (just plain ole dirt!) all around them. It also makes them look more realistic. Oh it’s so pretty. I love it all. You guys worked so hard and I know many wonderful memories will be made this summer. The flowers were geraniums not begonias and if you deadhead them they will keep blooming. I find they are pretty resilient. That was a great idea about the ferns. Enjoy your weekend. 🪴🌸🇺🇸
I have ferns hanging and in planters. Best thing about them is they only need watered a few times each week. I buy plastic buckets at Dollar Tree and fill half way with water and place ferns in to soak so they from the bottom for 6-8 hours. I put a little epsom salt in the water once a month. Those look good especially this season for a busy mom.
