Hi, my name is Dr. Sarah Evans, I'm an OB/GYN, joining the group of total woman here at Norton. I have the privilege of being a part of this specialty, I felt drawn to it even my first day in medical school and being a physician has been a lifelong dream of mine and it's proven to be, what I think is the greatest job. Two words that come to mind right off the bat are compassion and competency, being well trained and paired with and just that human touch of compassionate care is important to me. I love the practice of OB/GYN, caring for women in all phases of life and particularly being there for an important part of their life inviting their children into the world it's a real privilege. I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky where I met my husband as well. I went to the University of Kentucky or continued to be a UK basketball fan and went down the road to West Virginia for medical training. I had a great experience and then ended up and Indianapolis at St. Vincent Women's Hospital for my residency training. I'm certainly a homebody spending time with my little two-year-old boy and that has been at home. I love being outside riding bikes, running, anything that has to do with a grill or backyard barbecue I enjoy.
