It had to be this song, for me this is the most iconic scene of the whole series, and it’s like the unoficial song, such a shame the last season was trash
The fact that they didn't even give us a farewell dance scene, when all the foundation for each of the siblings' characters is in this 2 minute montage, really shows how much the writers of season 4 understood about The Umbrella Academy
@@etheangel2220 I wanted them to write a satisfying ending that stayed coherent with the tone and the character arcs they set up from the beginning. But apparently there's people like you who'll like just about anything
Holy s**t! I'm always watching Ellen (Needle scratch...Elliot) Page doing her (Glass breaking...his) cool dance, then the scene is over. Thanks, watched both seasons several times & never saw it.
Yeah, it's a really amazing nutshell of the whole series. The siblings are isolated from one each other, but are all connected as they dance to the same beat.
YESS AND I LOVE BOTH SHOWS THAT'S WHY I WAS SO AMAZED BY SEASON 1!!! (Yes I only completed season 1 a few hours ago and I only watched episode 1 of season 2)
Fr I think this scene made me fall in love with the show! That and Luther/Allison. Still so disappointed with the ending😭😭 I literally cried to much!!!
such good cinematography capturing the secret love this family actually has for each other. bonded through closed doors and regrets. speaks volumes to someone who was always locked in their rooms.
What a flop of an ending to a fantastic series, it was way too rushed, started great, then it felt like just rush to ending as fast as possible. After seeing the ending, for an example Five and Lila exploring the different timelines with the subway was totally pointless, and they totally changed Five’s character, I actually missed him being the arrogant, totally psychotic ruthless little shit he was in the earlier seasons😅
What a shitty finale for a great show (which gave Netflix part of the initial success). Such a shame that they didn't gave it a proper ending and just treat like trash every plot and character. Not that I am surprised by Netflix doing that, sadly...
Come back here after finishing series 4 and spontaneously started crying so ya its done a number on me and I'm just going to like live in series 1 and 2 instead
Same😢. Here for all the several states of grief. I just cant believe what happened to my favourite show. 😢😢😢 This scene is epic. Try to erase the horror of s4 coming here.
I dont think its meant to be interpreted literally. The song used is titled "I Think We're Alone Now" and it symbolizes how the siblings are now free to do as they please around the house, something that they could not do when their father was alive. I think this scene captures their emotions perfectly.
It’s such a nice scene though also for those who don’t understand what’s happening their dad wouldn’t let them have a childhood and Luther as an adult now listened to music, does what every normal kid would do but now as adults bc they didn’t have a childhood and this happened short after their dad dying so it was kinda a freedom dance from being punished or sent on missions and a final goodbye to their dad and them being an actual family now that’s why he played it for the whole house bc their rooms are connected through the vents and they can hear each other klaus was always punished as kids and they would hear him cry and feel like a worthless kid when they were young that’s why he’s in the kitchen cause he was the biggest outcast
got literal chills when this played again at the end
It had to be this song, for me this is the most iconic scene of the whole series, and it’s like the unoficial song, such a shame the last season was trash
I wanted to cry… partly because i was sad and because I was disappointed on the ending

I wish we could have seen more characters!

Me too!!
Diego’s got moves!😂
Now for the real question...
_what did Bens dancing look like?_
Actually that is a good question
You can go watch the season 2 announcement and five and Ben are dancing
Another question is what fives dancing would look like?
True
I want to see 5s.
Umbrella Academy is a combination of X-men and A Series of Unfortunate Events

This scene is so cleverly underplayed and that makes it even more hilarious
Quando arrivi a questa scena (della prima puntata) realizzi che sei di fronte ad una delle serie più interessanti degli ultimi anni :)
peccato che sia la migliore scena di tutta la serie.

Best dance scene ever.
Wooooooohhhh calm down.....it fits perfect to that scene....but its far far away from beeing the best dance secene ever
One of the best danse scene ever, totally agree. With the one with Starlord at the beginning of Gardians of Galaxy. 👍
More subtext, character insight, character and heart than all of season 4

This scene really needs some back story. Why Luthur? Why this song? Why at this moment?
don't think too much about it,, just let the emotions flow. Luthur is the most emotional one and they all met and needed an uplift
