I’ve been listening to this while studying for Oxford exams (physics). Failed. Felt really depressed, helpless and useless. Still do. Nonetheless preparing for this was the best period of my life. I felt like I had a reason to wake up and put my soul into the work. Saw myself crossing barriers I thought I was incapable of. Witnessed myself becoming a better thinker, maybe even better human. I’ve had hope, a dream.
I considered it but its a really tough decision. I seriously worked my ass off and don’t really know how I’d adjust - what I could’ve done differently. This yields a conclusion that I simply hit the ceiling of my abilities. Hence I’m rather reluctant. However it’s nice to talk to you about it, to see someone care about my “backstory”. I dont like doing it but through the internet with anonymous people I find it easier. Still haven’t really talked with anyone about it. Moreover, it happened like half a year ago. And I seriously feel depressed as well as overwhelmed/helpless. Just so you know that I’m thankful for this simple yet meaningful gesture.
@@bartomiejpotaman6973 I was also, falling in depression in the past. This song makes me feel like the universe did take everything from me. And I am angry at it. I'm angry with a convincing human emotion towards something that cannot reciprocate.
When we watched season 5 this weekend I said the same thing to my lady. I see someone tried to correct with Daft Punk but I think they are forgetting the original movie in 1982, which is what I think fits more closely than Daft Punk's score in the 2010 movie
It's pretty blatantly derivative (not in a bad way) of Vangelis in Blade Runner. But where the Blade Runner theme is in major key and sounds grand, this has a lot of minor key and sounds full of some kind of yearning or dread, something always feels "off," uncomfortable. I know it's like blasphemous because the Blade Runner theme is a masterpiece, but I like this more because of the mood it captures.

If only life had its own built in soundtrack system…I just want to have moments of pure nostalgia and peace standing over such beautiful and glorious views throughout space time…I feel my existence is being wasted every day, hour, and second on earth repeating such predictable and anticlimactic or straight out horrific experiences…if I ever see a chance of grasping the cosmos I must start as a mindless high school student that will probably not even come close to my actual goals of truly living in a universe.

This song makes me think about the possibility of the existence of dimensions and the multiverse. What if beyond this solar system, beyond the stars, beyond andromeda and beyond the walls that keep us in. What is truly out there? Alternative versions of yourself? A version where you become some mass murderer, celebrity, or scientist that is trying to find an access to other dimensions. Shit gets you thinkin beyond your box.
Why does make me feel a certain type of way? We are all in this planet together, the rest of the universe we will never get to explore, the infinite unknowns… this makes me feel like I am outside all of that, I just want to do things right in a way that I can witness space, the void of the universe…
This makes me think about how we are in the early universe before everything expands beyond view. We can see such beautiful things all around us and now, with the use of new telescope tech, we can see the unimaginable. We can peer to nearly the edge of time. Who knows what is beyond the vacuum.
