- When you mix potatoes and the largest freshwater species of fish in North America you end up in the back waters of Idaho fishing the Snake River. We have learned a lot the past year fishing the Snake. Every so often you run into a new species of fish that humbles you and redefines what a fish is. For me, that species was White Sturgeon on the Snake River in Idaho.

Hey thanks, it’s a beast of a rod, we’ve tried shorter bank rods but can’t ever cast as far as with these long rods. Sturgeon honestly are a super addictive species. I see why people target them their entire life.
