To be completely fair, as a resident Slab Marksman user here, dealing 5.25 damage with one coin beats a lot of health thresholds like Schisms, Streetcleaners, and Radiant Soldiers. As well, it can deal invariable damage to enemies that don't receive headshots like Insurrectionists, (Radiant/Non-Radiant) Drones and Maurices. IMO, I think it's better because I think using the default Marksman for crowd control is kinda silly. Especially when rockets, conduction, and sawblades exist. I'd rather take the increased damage cap on a single target for more consistent damage. Edit: I dislike Lust as well. EDIT 2: THE GUTTERMAN CHARGEBACK BOUNCES THE COIN AT 9:47. That's cool!
ya i love the default marksman, but the slab marksman is really good also! i think they are both perfectly viable, i just personally like the normal one, it’s all personal preference, thanks for commenting! it’s helped me understand the power of the alt marksman better.

As a person who is a normal marksman fan, I agree that it's viable since I've tried it myself but I'm staying with normal because I have a skill issue and can't hit my shots with the alt
I'm not sure why people treat it as such a black and white choice. We get three different forms of each weapon - you can have some alternate and some not. I love to run slab piercer and sharpshooter, but default marksman.
my favourite level is 4--4 tbh, V2 is my favourite base game boss (so not including prime sanctums) if were talking abt normal levels tho then my top 3 is probably 5-2, 5-3, and 1-3. the video was cool btw i subbed

It isn’t, if you have only one weapon equipped, the freshness won’t go down

this should deffently be added to the game i use the alt marksman pistol (i dont know why) but this would be a massive upgrade
the alt marksman is really fun, just not as good in my opinion, just as the alt shotguns are more fun, just are less practical
