hello bro we are doing capstone project and this is what we chose, can u tell me what materials u used? the only materials i know u used in arduino r3 and breadboard but the others i dont know. we are beginners and know little about this. we will recreate this but without the automatic water pump since we only aim to provide the moisture level. please bro i need you xD.

@@dechaalsanabila7548 For over roll is the water pump will be on (Relay) when the soil moisture is low as a centain level as in code and will be off (Relay) when soil moisture level is high.This is the concept for this project .I hope it will help some how.

my lcd just lighting not displaying text, how can i solve it because everything seems well from the serial monitor
its often happen when i2c code is not same or wire connection is not connet properly.
I just wonder with that load how you didn't break the Arduino board
@@heykeliglesias2639 It would burn Arduino because the load is from Relay out put so it really safe to use.
would this setup work alongside either an LED or a speaker/buzzer for visual and/or audible alarms for when your soil needs watering?

Yes you can....but you need to change the pin follow up to Node MCU digital pin

To connect water pump , basically their is two wire for water pump ⛽ one wire is (+) and another one is (-).So just cut off (+) wire and one side connect to Com of relay and than another side of (+) wire connect to No of relay.Thats all bro...try it .but make sure you power off before you cut the wire to avoid any electric short .

I've got an issue with the LCD screen, in the video you say to connect to the digital pins D4 and D5 but you connect them to the analog pins A4 and A5, while also on the code the pin 2 is set so which is it ?

Hi...if you use water pump practically you just cut off the positive wire of the pump and one side connect to COM of Relay and the other side connect to NO of Relay that it done.
Relay is perform as switch only.I suggest you use DC water pump.

Hello, I made this project as presented, I used the programming as available for download. The system works perfectly, but he does the irrigation and the next day the system crashes and he has to unplug it so he can restart the reading and then make the decision whether to irrigate or not.
