That is awesome Ace Hardware did this. I have yet to use my smoker. But I'm planning on going to Ace to get my B & B charcoal and a Weber chimney starter as soon as I have the money for it. Can't wait to fire it up. No, I don't have a Pitbarrel Smoker. Couldn't afford one. But what I got should work just fine. Thanks for the mouth watering videos.
I wish my Ace had a Barbecue section like that one. Mine only has less than 3ft dedicated to it and I have to get all my supplies ordered in. My Ace knows me as the Barbecue guy.
Show them this video and ask if they can beef it up! Mine has started to respond and add more and more stuff. And they moved our BBQ section to the very front at the entrance!
@@BBQiT My ace is super small and cater to the famers. I've never seen an Ace close at 5pm till i moved here. What they do carry in the Barbecue section nobody wants, mostly cheap charcoal, and parts, no seasoning so it has no chance of going bad so no loss to the store. But I can certainly try.
Hi bbq it!! Do you have any suggestions for burning BnB orange bag in the pbc? My first time I prepared the pit like I do for KBB. They never wanted to get hot and I had to keep cracking the lid every hour or so to keep it going. Next time I let the chimney get white everywhere , poured them on, let the lid crack for 15minutes , put the food on and continued lid cracked until up to temp. Temps were solid at 270 for3 to4 hours. By them started to drop. In both cases there were a lot of coals that never lit. What so you think? Thank you!!
Ace is great, I am a Canadian living close to the New York border, picked up my PBC at Ace in Rouses pointe, got great service from "Siera" and can understand why the company is doing it`s 95th year.. Thanks
Craig. My 41st birthday is coming up soon. Feel free to bring your barrels and your B&B to my house to help me celebrate. Heck there’s a couple of ACE hardware stores close to me too...
Weird question, but do you ever wash your rub containers? I've seen a ton of bbq videos online and everyone just grabs their seasoning containers with their gloved hands wet with raw meat juices. I try to just use one hand for working with the meat and one hand for seasoning, is there some trick I'm missing? Or do people generally wash their seasoning containers regularly? Or just use them up and toss them? As always, fantastic videos, I'm new to the channel and your videos are great!
Great question! I've been planning on showing folks what a proper clean up looks like. I carry bleach wipes and other sanitizers with w in my bbq box I was showing. I ALWAYS clean every single rub bottle, tool, I mean everything with those cleaners. I'm serious about making sure me or nobody get cross-contamination and or gets sick. So yes, scrub EVERYTHING!
@@BBQiT I don't think I've ever seen a single video on doing a proper cleanup of the cutting board, station, utensils, and extra stuff like seasoning containers, probes, etc. It definitely would be a great video to put out into the world!
Great job! I love my local ACE hardware, Bought all my new grates for the old charbroil 22" kettle i have had for 20 years. Need to get out and do some grilling. Sometimes sucks in Michigan for that at this time of the year. LOL Look forward to your future videos.
How does this work, do you need a food service license since you're serving the public? Is there like a temporary kitchen inspection permit you get? The food looks great!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACE ... I love ACE hardware, every year on my time in the USA I visit many ACE stores! We don't have them here in Germany 😭 by the way, your ribs are looking very delicious 👍👍👍😂😂😂

cotton glove works well also.
They’re underneath ;)
@@BBQiT I meant using a cotton glove to grip it and pull it off works better than using a nitrile or even a paper towel.
Merry Christmas from MI. And happy New Year...Big Ace Hardware fan!!! Looked fun. Saved the recipe going to try it out...

Fair enough Andy! So, what state are you in? And when is your B-Day?
BBQ iT I in the great state of Georgia and my birthday is Feb. 10!
@@andyblack5687 Hmmmm that may be a bit to close to make happen! Damn!!
@@BBQiT Oh well. Guess I'll just have to keep watching your videos then. I can almost taste the food through the computer.

Giving away food, so it's not a service. It's a food demo, with perks!
