The Tigger Movie is criminally underrated. I never thought a Winnie the Pooh movie by DisneyToon Studios could be this amazing. This song is my favorite from the film along with the credits theme. But honestly the fact that they included the Sherman brothers, animated this film fluid and sketchy like the storybook, gave Tigger a surprisingly interesting and relatable type of main character for the movie, it’s just mind blowing to me, no wonder this got a theatrical release and did surprisingly well in the box office it deserved it.
I distinctly remember this scene just because the animation during this song was THAT good. For a song about Tigger’s family it’s only fair you make it as extravagant as Tigger himself.
Hearing this again is such an experience. I remember watching this movie and rewinding this song maybe 20-30 times in one day. I loved this movie and song so much!
This scene had probably the most pop culture references you’ll ever see in Winnie the Pooh, as hinted here by the instrumentation that keeps changing to fit the gags.
