These comments are how bot accounts establish a clean history. If a brand new account starts spamming it's going to be auto-banned fast. But if an account has months of comments that nobody has ever reported, the automods think it's a legit account and the actual spam comments get past the filter much more easily. That's why these name bot accounts are always brand new while the mr beast scam bots are always much older. What we're seeing are mr beast bots at the first stage of their life cycle.

@@lucyl4603 The bot farmers are raising up millions of bots posting thousands of comments each. I think random sequences of names happen to be optimal to generate billions of comments that are both unique enough to not be simply filtered, and also meet the automods criteria of "real" comments. UA-cam users are already complaining about the amount of false positive deletions that the comment automods are giving out, yet the automods are also failing to match the seemingly obvious pattern of these name bots. I believe there's something about lists of names which creates a "catch 22" situation for filtering them. But I don't know why exactly that is.
That's a pretty good explaination.
I was thinking they were alpha markers for A.I. content skimming bots.
The idea being that the bot watches a video to learn how videos work, the leaves a comment to indicate it already viewed the video. Then before it watches another random video, it checks for that code word sequence and if it finds it, it jumps to another video. This would theoretically prevent a skimming bot from getting stuck in a content loop.

i think an easy fix (if they are trying to phish for names) is to add miscellaneous names to your blocked words list
having your _actual_ name blocked can help, but yes it lets the bots grab your name by process of elimination. BUT if you have 14 fake first names and 14 fake last names all blocked, you could broaden that pool greatly and cripple this strange attempt at information phishing
also, why! just why!! would anyone try to dox and phish in the 1st place. Just be good to other people, apply your skills constructively not destructively what the actual fudge pack

Not really, all they do will just discover your name, and they can't do anything with only a name, unless they do with adresses
Best way to mess with them. Grab a list of common names since that's what they are probably using, then add them all to your blocklist.

Nah, its gotta be blocked not deleted. Just put random names in your blocked word list. Bots are fast, they can tell the difference between deleted and blocked.
I’d put a ton of names into the block list, at least 10 names. I’d also keep an eye on the comments (your comments and others) and block the channel whenever you see any comment bots.
These especially should be blocked, the comment bots who type “under 10 minute gang” can be blocked too to get rid of clutter.

I got two of these comments on one of my more medium preforming videos, and I deleted them both. Now that's not unusual considering they've been everywhere. The unusual part is that my name *isn't* *private.* If they really wanted my name, they could just go get it with a little digging.

A good way to get around that, if it is the case, is to put a bunch more sets of names in your blocked list so they can't get anything useful from it. If they see a Linda gets Thanos'd but your name certainly isn't Linda, it'll either bring them on a wild goose chase or completely invalidate everything they get from it.

On another note: You're probably right about the fishing for information. This sounds much more plausible, compared to 'edit later' theory. Heck, with my own channel I was working on at one point (different account) I even considered blocking my name; but then thought better of that for exactly this 'sort' of reason. Not this exact method mind you, but the idea is the same. Like you said, if a name is getting blocked for no good reason, then it's probably in the block list. So if you get one name, and know they only have two names (some have more), then all they have to do is guess the other name. And bonus points (not the good kind) for those who put their full name as a singular blocked term. Essentially once they have both names, all they have to do is comment with one arrangement, or the other. If one arrangement gets through, then while the singular names might be blocked, the filter might not be catching them put together like that; but will block the one that is properly arranged. ... I think. Even if this doesn't work exactly like that, it will still otherwise end up blocking both. So you'll know you have at least one of them right.
I mean heck, the YT filter isn't exactly the best at its job. Most of it can be gotten around by hiding what you don't want blocked behind the read more section. Most of the time. Not always.
You'd be surprised what you can get away with, when the read more function is in use.
PS. If you think this info is too dangerous for potential hackers/scammers and the like to get ahold of, because of it actually turning out to being accurate... feel free to delete this.

NEVER block just your first name, nor just your first and last name. Always block a set of names to throw people off.
Kind of a silly way to go about doxxing someone. It's a hell of a lot easier than that. I don't think people realize just how easy it is to find information about you, and they certainly don't realize how much of a non-issue it is almost all of the time for almost everyone. If you're concerned, get identity protection. Works wonders.

It's not "easy" without a name.
A random UA-cam who you personally want to dox but do not know their name, is not that easy to dox.
Unless you're experienced with OPSEC, it can be neat impossible for most people to pull off.
This method will give you an invaluable resource, a starting point.

There are websites to randomise the contents of all your existing comments and put random words in them, in a way to completely disappear without a trace before you delete your account. I have never actually seen this on UA-cam before, but it could be.
maybe we could combat this potential threat by blocking multiple commonly used names? so that they never truly know and if they try to doxx you they will most likely be wrong and more easily dealt with

So what you do is put, say, 10 different names into your blocked list.
Just ban all names ezzzzz
