The benefit of Oxycontin is that it's a 12 hour time release for people in chronic pain. It did it's purpose but people began abusing it by crushing the time release pills and snorting them which was like a heroine high. Josef mengela was so evil. But when he died they found a mass of hair in his stomach. He had a bushy mustache and he would chew on it because he was nervous all the time. I hope it was painful.
Although he didn't have the power his father did, Udi Hussein was a monster in every respect. He was one of the sons of Saddam Hussein. (I think the eldest if I recall correctly.) None of the Bathory accusations were ever proven. The same people who made these accusations, who owed her money and wanted her lands btw, claimed they witnessed the nanny having sex with the devil. Other witnesses claimed that they were tortured until they backed up the claims that she was a murderer. Her accusers said that she had a book with the names of her victims, yet it was never found, and she was never given the chance to speak on her own behalf. Some believe they waited for her husband to die to take her down because women weren't allowed to have the power that she did in those days. History was written by the winners and the winners weren't always honest. But i suppose it's not as fun to think there's a chance that she was innocent.

1:20 Caligula was not his name. His name was actually Gaius Caesar Augustus Germanicus. Caligula is Latin for "Little Boots" a nick name he *HATED* as an adult. He got the nickname because as a child of the aristocracy he would be dressed as a solder and would march around. He had boots that were small so people called him "Little Boot" as a child. As he grew into adulthood, he didn't out grow the nickname and he grew to deeply resent it. Somehow, I think, considering what he did, it is very fitting that he should be known through history by a disrespectful name that he disposed.
We had a VP who was all business. If he was nearby, you’d better be busy. His nickname was Jaws. We’re pretty sure he knew and he loved it. The manager who eventually took his place was always called Baby Jaws and he absolutely hated that name, which just made it more popular.
The irony of the fact that simply saying the name of #3 isn’t even allowed, yet you can freely speak the name of those who killed more than Mr H, for very similar reasons if not the same reasons, is certainly not lost on some of us.

When Lavrenty Beria was arrested, at first he was defiant, proud and rude. By the way he was arrested by the Marshal Zhukov himself with a small detachment of loyal Red Army officers, just after they managed to remove Beria from the loyal NKVD unit that had the role of his personal bodyguards. But as Beria became more and more aware of the situation he was in, and the fact that he was out maneuvered by the rest of the Politbiro members (Khruschev, Malenkov and Molotov), his stance went from defiant to meek while finally he turned into a crying and sniveling little man that was kissing the shoes of his captors and judges, praying for his life to be speared.. A single family/company did NOT cause the "opioid crisis." You have to throw in doctors who, in the 70's and 80's, were writing scripts and prescribing painkillers like candy. Throw in patients who simply demanded them instead of needing them, handing them out to family/friends, drug dealers who saw a market and ran with it and the FDA who realized there was a problem and did NOTHING about it until forced to. There's not just one to blame.
Genghis Khan was an enigma. Did his armies kill millions? Yes. BUT, they were all first given a choice to JOIN him...which many did...and keep their homes in relative peace. Those that refused, well...they are the ones that rank in the millions. It was expected that those who submitted would then fight for him as well when called upon to do so, but that's what most of the 'clans' in those days did ANYWAY, and Khan provided them with walls of security, religious freedom, and many other things that were not provided to most people at that time. Was it a PERFECT lifestyle? Hell no. But who...even TODAY...has a 'perfect' lifestyle? If I lived over there, back then, I might find myself a willing warrior of Khan.

At the risk of sounding overly Socratic, is that in fact what you're doing here? The purpose of my original post was to name LBJ for the historical monster he was (in terms of his orchestrating the slaughter which was Vietnam). That's it nothing more. Discussing the degree of culpability which existed in the US populace in the 1960s or in the German populace in the 1930s and 40s for their respective slaughters is not at all something I was doing and if that's the impression I gave for that I'm sorry.
What is most terrifying is not these evil men but all the ones who blindly followed and carried out their orders instead of stopping them. As the saying goes the world should only fear evil men when good ones do nothing stop them.
That is nonsense. That is not the lesson of the holocaust. Plenty of good people spoke out about Hitler and disappeared. At some point armies of men must act to end something or God, Himself, would have to intervene. The lesson of the holocaust is 68 Germans with the help of 366 Jews can slay over 600,000 humans in less than 16 months in Triblinka alone. Until the Nazi war machine is finished such is the capabilities of an advanced nation looking to liquidate humans.
I visited the Killing Fields and "S21" prison camp in Cambodia, what Pol Pot did was absolutely brutal and inhumane, if you have the chance to visit, I would recommend you go. There is a theory that Bathory was framed, so that her husband’s best friend or brother could gain her lands. I think the movie Bathory illustrates this.
And this doesn't include all the wolves in sheep's clothing masquerading as angels of light. Some of the most evil monsters are the ones people trust the most.
Gilles De Rais has been officially pardoned. It was proven that the stories were fabricated by the king and someone working with him. The king saw Gilles as an embarrassment and the kings helper wanted Gilles money and land. It is believed Elizabeth Bathory (Elzebet) was set up in a similar way. Not only was she extremely rich but when her husband died, she was extremely powerful. At that time, the rulers didn’t like this as she was a woman. They didn’t want other women getting the same idea. Unfortunately, there just hasn’t been enough evidence found yet to publicly pardon Elizabeth. Gilles De Rais was actually Joan of Ark’s right hand man and fought by her side all through the war. He was heartbroken when she was betrayed and had a few words to say about it so he was ‘Retired’ from his duties. That means France got rid of both of the people who fought the hardest for its freedom and won.

None of the Bathory accusations were ever proven.

He got the nickname because as a child of the aristocracy he would be dressed as a solder and would march around. He had boots that were small so people called him "Little Boot" as a child.
As he grew into adulthood, he didn't out grow the nickname and he grew to deeply resent it.

Genghis Khan should be higher.. he literally changed the makeup of the people living today.. 40+ million is only surpassed by one

His son Richard took over but was no equal to his father and was deposed by Charles 2. Oliver was dug up and posthumously executed and his corpse was displayed for all to see.
There is a theory that Bathory was framed, so that her husband’s best friend or brother could gain her lands. I think the movie Bathory illustrates this.
she was framed. historians and the director of the national archives in hungary say that.
And this doesn't include all the wolves in sheep's clothing masquerading as angels of light.
Some of the most evil monsters are the ones people trust the most.
You should definitely do a Vlad the Impaler bit he's my favorite
Gilles de Rais should definitely be on this list as should Ed Gein, Mussolini, Zodiac killer, Jack the Ripper to name a few.
How many did ed gein kill
You realize you slipped a pic of Forest Whitaker in your Idi Amin bit.
little note about Nero, after rome burned he opened his garden and paid for food for people, often out of his pocket and he also didnt play anything while it burned, he may not have been the best but he did have a heart for his people
When she says she's a leo, my man looked at me like🤨 and I was like😬. Well it's true, not all of us are crazy
Aren’t you happy and relieved this kind of stuff doesn’t happen nowadays? Oh, wait…..
If you're not allowed to say his name of #3 on the Internet, he's got to be #1.
Locusta or Lucusta (died 69), was a notorious maker of poisons in the 1st-century Roman Empire, active in the final two reigns of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. She supposedly took part in the assassinations of Claudius and Britannicus. She was a favourite of emperor Nero for several years, and Nero had her provide training to other poisoners in his service. Following Nero's death, Locusta was execute not assulted by a giraffe
It's truly unsettling how many people were murdered (at the very least of offenses) and for how long, The majority of monsters mentioned, in your clips. Reign of terror lasted. And the majority of those were done. Not only In plain sight of the neighborhood, but the world.
My problem with John gacy it's just like my problem with Dahmer, we find out in the end there's so many times they could have been caught in authorities did nothing for made the wrong call.
You left out a pretty chilling detail about that chessboard. He was one murder away from completing a murder per chesspiece. He said that was his only regret. (Creepo)
Somehow this bit of information makes it so much worse
I’ll never understand the hate on the maker of OxyContin. It’s much better to keep people suffering and bed ridden right? Doctors over willingness to prescribe the drug to anyone and everyone is what caused the problem. Plus people need self control, they didn’t stick a gun to anyone’s head and force them to get addicted.
It was marketed as being non-addictive--that's the kicker.
American life's journey was VERY SHORT LIVED NOW THEY HAVE ME ON MEDS THAT ARE TOTALLY WORST THING THAN OPIATES AND ITS SYNTHETIC MORPHINE,
They were complicit and knew how much of the stuff was being made
Shipman also did a lot of killing in the victims own homes. Because he was a small community doctor and a lot of his patients were elderly, he would do home visits and inject them at home. No one should have that much unchecked power and access to vulnerable people.... sick man.
Homes was also cleaning the bodies to the bone and selling the skeletons to schools biology departments and to medical schools.
Well, I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition!
No one expects the Spanish inquisition.
