      Wow, thanks so much for the kind words Kevin - and for sending over that connection request via LinkedIn! Hope your LinkedIn Outreach has been going well, and let me know what questions come up along the way.

    Hey Chris, I must have missed something. Around 24 minutes into your video you say not to sent connection requests. Are you meaning not to send a standard request and that you need to ad text? Thanks.

      Sorry for any confusion Ed - what I mean it to not send a Connection Request Message - you definitely need to send Connection Requests, but you don't want to include a message with that connection request - in other words, you'll want to leave it blank.

    Hey my man whats ur thoughts on LinkedIn automations for connection request purposes and for the first message

    • @UptownCreationB2BMarketing
      @UptownCreationB2BMarketing  2 роки тому +1

      Automation isn't terrible to use, but 99% of people use it wrong. The biggest problem with automation is that it makes it so people aren't pressing the buttons and getting a feel for how to adapt their campaign/what's working and what isn't working. This is probably the biggest flaw because people find crappy copy from a quick Google search and then they set it and forget it and wonder why they don't get results.
      Automation is great for certain aspects, but I think nothing beats doing it by hand for 30-60 days until you see results and then automating or outsourcing the tedious work.
      Since automation is against the terms of service you need to be careful because LinkedIn can block you anytime they want and the API knows when you are using automation vs when you are not using automation - so your connection request limits etc might be higher without the use of automation.
      Hope this helps!

      @@UptownCreationB2BMarketing great advice my man.
      Yes doing things urself for a couple of months and then replicatiing and automatiing what is working is a great idea.

      @@shahoodirshad559 You can also use InMails to speed up this process. You can send 800 InMails a month and this number resets on the 1st of each month (so you can send out 800 in the next 7 days, and then another 800 in July). InMails are great for getting more messages out and testing different copy/testing different targeting and doing this very quickly.

    What do you think about sending a follow up message & how would you phrase it?

    • @UptownCreationB2BMarketing
      @UptownCreationB2BMarketing  2 роки тому

      The best follow up message we've tested is their name with a ? - for example, "Arnold?"
      If someone doesn't respond to that then we will try to craft a follow-up message that hits a different part of the brain than the initial outreach message. For example, if the initial message was playing on emotion then the follow-up message should play on logic, and vice-versa

    Industry isn't accurate?! Can you elaborate on this?

    • @UptownCreationB2BMarketing
      @UptownCreationB2BMarketing  2 роки тому

      It's important to distinguish between the Industry filter for "Leads" (aka individuals) vs. "Accounts" (aka companies). If you go to your personal LinkedIn profile and hit "edit" you'll notice that there is an Industry filter there. This is a self reported filter that many times people will fill out once and never change again as they change jobs and/or if they have multiple jobs. For example, my industry is marked as "marketing", but let's say I was working a job as a pharmacist + owned a marketing company. Since BOTH jobs are current, it will take into account the job title and company, but the industry will be the same for both jobs.
      Similarly, another flaw of LinkedIn's filtering is that it doesn't link titles to companies. For example, if someone has two current roles:
      1) CEO at Chris Cozzolino Coaching
      2) Janitor at Walmart
      ^ the above result would generate Chris Cozzolino as the CEO of Walmart in a search AND a Janitor at Chris Cozzolino Coaching
