I really like the double twist on the ring knot and the whipping and epoxy on the hk connection very professional right down to the sizing of assist chord to the hk size - excellent. awaiting metalwitch rod and ocea jigger reel and my 1st 6 slow pitch jigs type R and longs. cant wait to make a few sets of assist hks like you do - again very professional - good stuff!

hi... I stay in SGP... u should b able to get it at Sabre Stroker.. they sell some basic Rod building items. . do not attempt to try too much.. mix a little n understand the drying time.. app 8hrs.

Does thread size/strength matter in the whipping or is that a nonissue because of epoxy?

The thread size will be better with thinner thread like 8 or 6lbs.. strength is there as it is reinforced by epoxy.

U mean the silver clamp..
I use a stainless steel and weld it on direct to the clamp..
