That motor needs to be put on a shelf and and a 408 small block put in there or of course a 383 or 440. That polyspherical 318 is junk as is. They can be made to have some power, but why bother.
It appears to be a freshly rebuilt engine. Id slap a 4 barrel on it and run it! I wouldnt particularly choose a poly but if ive already got one that runs...why not? Theres nothing wrong with a poly. And i have no plans on racing the Fury!

O ring was smoked on that ancient filter. Its got a WIX on it now
