Do I need a voice recorder at uni as a first year
Depends if your lecturers record their live lectures. I would deffo recommend it if they don't. However, most of the time, there are pre recorded videos on every topic they cover anyway. But sometimes they may say extra useful things in the lectures that you may wanna record. See how it goes.
