Great video! Thank you for sharing. Wasn't this update supposed to help with the range estimate as well? Have you seen it become improved?
Too soon to tell but I'll get back to you!
I was wondering about the Halloween mode. Thanks
You are welcome!
One thing I’d like to point out is that they did not deliver the gauge update to non-performance dual motors. They said explicitly in the press release that everybody would get the new drive mode page with the gauges. According to a Rivian rep they’re not giving the gauges to non-performance dual. I’m an owner and this is very upsetting.
Yes I reported about that on 𝕏 as I had learned afterwards
In a Reddit post, rivian noticed this and will issue hotfix to have it show for standard
Could you try checking battery temp while super charging vs regular L2 charging?
I’ll put that together!
Hi, my Rivian R1S left on a flatbed truck this afternoon back to the Service Center as the latest.38.0 update was not completed successfully and the vehicle was bricked.
Was wondering if anyone else had this issue. Couldn't even open the door to get into the vehicle using phone or nfc card. Wouldn't connect via Bluetooth either.
Oh no!!! I’m so sorry to hear this :(
I haven’t seen others report this
I am wondering if I am in all purpose mode I want to switch directly to sport mode. With slider design, does it has to go through conserve mode first?
I did notice that yes it will do that. Alternatively you can just click on the different modes to skip one.
@@riviantrackr thank you for confirming!
Man, nice update but this one installed on my R1T on its own, failed or so, and now I have airbag system warnings, can't use ACC, and truck doesn't connect to the Internet/cloud anymore so they can't even diagnose it, can't use app features much unless close, etc. Sucks! Hoping for 2023.42 to be a thing and release in ~4 weeks are so if remains a similar schedule to see if fixes things... likely not though since isn't "online" anymore.
Oh no, what’s Rivian saying?
Ah, unfortunately they can't "push" software out apparently to a particular truck again remotely which is odd sounding. They want of course an in person service appointment to leave truck with them for a week to fix software issue - ug, so 1990. And of course that is all the way out in Nov/Dec.@@riviantrackr
