I was travelling around europe, asia and australia for more then 1 year too and planing my next long term-trip in about 2 month (do the rest of south-east asia, india and after this whole central america and parts of south amerika).

Hey Gabriel, I'm going to be in Guatemala next week. How did you travel to El Retiro in Lanquin? I'm flying into Belize City, staying on Caye Caulker for a few days and then heading over to Flores, down to Antigua, possibly to Copan in Honduras, and then back to Belize City. I'm thinking of stopping over El Retiro for maybe two nights. How does one get there from Guatemala City?
hey Stephen, I booked a shared minivan from my hotel in Flores. There are lots of them that go direct straight to Lanquin in a day, easy peezy. Have fun...

The weather was great, warm but not too hot and not much rain. I was there in winter.

arulisms I just heard about it from other travelers. It's one of the cool places to visit in Guatemala so it's pretty well known.

No, I was visiting Guatemala for just one month. Now I'm in Mexico, but I'm flying back to the United States in 2 days. Yes I travel around a lot!
