When in reality he has never had what it takes to lead a team to a ring. If he had stayed in OKC with the original gang he would probably be a well-respected player with multiple championships to his name. Now he will be remembered as this eras version of Carmelo. Elite scorer, but not much else when it comes down to the actual legacy.
KD got swept in 2022 by the Celtics. This one in 2024 confirms the end of an era.

All players give their best. It's terrible to speak with such disdain about your players. But no matter how hard everyone fights, I repeat, there are teams that have to lose, so that only one team wins, in the end.

I know lot of people make fun of Lebron been a poor defender, and I agree, but truth be told... KD is not such a good defender himself. He is tall, but he struggle with both quick and strong players, father time is unforgiven. I know, I know, he is great as a score and it is too much to also ask he is an elite defender, but... Isn't that the same we ask from James?
I love KD, but his window to get one or more rings is getting more and more narrow. At this point he may be sending his resume to Jokic and Tatum.
This Suns team is not built the right way. KD is an elite score yet, but next season he needs good defensive players, effective three point shooters and a nice bench. To have three super scorers in a same team at the cost of a complete roster is destined to fail
