- Here we go! The long awaited Secret Beach Belize construction and development update from Will Mitchell and the REMAX team. Love the videos! My GF's family is from Belize. I had never been there or even thought of visiting until we met. We went to Secret Beach in 2018 and thought it was beautiful! My major concern is services like police, fire, medical care and proximity to groceries. I'm sure that will start to pop up as the homes start getting built out. I'm a former City Manager and I'm curious if the local government is working off of a Master Plan or are they just allowing random home development without fully planning out infrastructure and services like I mentioned.
Also the amount of time it takes to travel anywhere else in Belize. I thought about buying, but transportation and the cost of it and distance has turned me off.
Also getting things in. Food is also expensive. So is electricity, that was a big surprise. I think I will be looking elsewhere. Good luck in your search 👍

Hey well thanks for the update on secret beach lots going on great to see also in Habitat you said there’s five potential people looking to build in secret Beach at this time. My question is, is there a certain builder is going to be building in Habitat or do you pick the builder you want? Thanks again will can’t wait to be out there next year to check out the progress. love that BLUE roof. (would have helped save homes in Lahaina). Curious, any homes built w/a loft and outdoor upper view deck off loft area? would be super cool. your fav is mine too. What about flooding .. how often? how about ur e-cart? will they ever build an actual bridge from san pedro to secret bch? incl e-cart w/home cost (package deal). why aren´t there homes avail/being built ON THE BEACH there?
At the end of our vacay - we packed up all our leftover groceries and gave them to a crew working in Secret Beach. After seeing this video, it was Oscar’s crew lol. Good lads

How are internet speeds in Belize (specifically Secret Beach)?
What an upbeat optimistic environment of growth. Just where is all the infrastructure besides the homes? Sewers, electricity, groceries, stores, gas stations, medical services, restaurants, etc.?!

Hey Will, what do boat owners do that own in secret beach? Is there a marina near by or plans of one in the future?
Great question. Most would use Captain Sharks boat yard to store and then find docks they could possibly rent a space at. It is still a trickier situation to solve and if having a boat is a top priority something that has boat space might be a better option.
