I remember this. We played this one in my high school concert band 1979. I got the trumpet solo.
very strong low brass section!
At 02:15, somebody hit the wrong note.
The Bb clarinets were a bit sloppy on the fast passages, could've been tighter. Kudos to the Eb clarinetist. Otherwise, good job.
How could anyone follow this guy? A credit to the musicians.
i thought it was js me😭it seemed more like he was falling behind them ALOT especially on the cut time part
alot of the times he was conducting on just the beat instead of based on the count 💀
He started waving his stick when the music started, stopped when the band stopped. @@faizayabre4743

@BamaBigSidOn the score it says duration 10 minutes . They play it in 9:44 here. Most often it played much slower and probably at least a minute past what the score suggests
