Tanya, You are doing wonderful work in the Ukraine. My daughter is serving a mission in Russia and she is meeting wonderful church members there. She is happy to be serving in Russia. I'm in the 8th grade and I have been friends with some of these people since 1st grade. I know they have strong spirits but they don't always choose the right. Its a lot of pier pressure and I myself end up not always choosing the right. I want to be a better influence on my friends (I'm the only LDS in my school) but I don't want to be a hypocrite.
A good friend can make us the difference between taking the right path of wrong and his example may be a relief to our sorrow in this life and the good friend becomes the hands of God for us ... Am I that good friend to someone my Lord?
