DaffanZ Yeah it's a bit of a shame. You can roll a CPU Implant I think instead, I haven't checked but if 1% CPU is enough it would cost efficient, 2% maybe too providing you don't get podded since it's not that much cheaper than the compact, although the problem with that is it replaces your Small Hybrid Damage implant shot, and 3% Small Hybrid Damage is a nice cheap upgrade at around 500-600k or so.
DaffanZ Just as a follow up, the ship is now a lot cheaper to run due to the PG reduction on Medium shield Extenders and the 'Compact' Micro-Warpdrive of the recent patch, you can use a T1 MAPC now saving the 10mil. Im new to the game and I would like to know if there is a reason why you didnt engage the Onyx. He wouldnt have done much damage to you anyway. Were you worried about potential friends of his or is your dps in the Raptor just to low to outdamage him?
Mad Larkin Even though his damage was low, an Onyx can easily have enough passive regeneration to perma tank me, especially since T2 Caldari has big bonus to Thermal and Kinetic resistances which is what I deal, therefore, I decided not to engage because it was very unlikely for me to be able to kill him, I didn't want to chance him having a scram or web and being able to hold me down for bigger ships to come in. .
Do you think that this fit can handle a tackling role? Because i'm searching for an inty which can obviously tackle, but which can manage to win a duel if it has to duel.
This Raptor can be a Tackler, but the only thing is it doesn't have is a long range point, so you may miss some people who are jumping into you on gates and it'll be a little harder for you to tackle people who are some ways away from you. I think it's fine to use this fit if you have someone else in your fleet who does have a long point.
void is difficult to use in the Raptor because of the lack of tracking bonus and against many ships where void would be feasible you are probably better off using your optimal range bonus advantage with null, but it is certainly worth carrying.

Tabs27 I am usually lazy and just use orbit/keep at range with a few moments of manual piloting.

Mikkel Rasmussen Raptor has 3 Turrets and 25% bonus to damage, so it has 3 x 1.25 = 3.75 effective turrets.
With this, you don't need the 11m isk power core.

paw101 If you can't afford the Raptor, You can also fly a Kestrel solo in 0.0 for 9mil isk which is also strong :)
