Clash of Clans didn't bring any significant change to Gaming industry apart from thr fact that it was popular because it was free. Also Contra and Pac-man is pretty much everyone's childhood game but that didn't bring any change or anything. But yes Mario did which pretty much everyone forget somehow. Because Mario bought a new life to 2d games as whole.
Well cyberpunk also changed gaming industry for providing most bugs and glitches possible at launch😂😂😂😂😂😂

Need for speed underground 1 and Most Wanted 2005 were my first game when I was 7 years old I love need for speed it is the best game the graphics and many things also how many of you remember Eddie and his Skyline?

It did kind of bring revolutionary change to how people would see games. But that was 3 years ago and since then no game has come even close to such realistic details as of now. The only one which tried to come close to even better facial features and graphics was none other than Cyberpunk 2077 which we later found out was nothing but a scam done by the greedy Cooperations, plus the game even after most fixes still doesn't stand a chance against RDR2. Matrix awakens is still somewhat in development but yes with the new Unreal Engine 5 and its features, we can say that the Graphics of many Games are soon going to touch next level. They will look so real just as real as a Movie.
But even after all this so many games these days are either broken, incomplete or a just a scam. Far Cry 6 is another example, it was hyped so much, only for people to find that it's the same thing and is just Ubisoft trying to be politically correct. Another thing that has plagued thr Gaming Industry is Politics. Now don't get me wrong I have nothing against Women but then why is the original male Protagonist of a game franchise being replaced by Female protagonist. They are basically bringing in the toxic Feminist Idealogy into games these days, Example being, Far Cry 6, Last of us 2, Assassin's creed Valhalla, etc.
in short Red Dead Redemption 2 “might” be the last Rockstar Original and the last piece of beautiful art before its downfall
Your Need for speed most wanted point gave so much nostalgia to me that it has been 15 min after this vdo but i am still in my childhood memories
Even the Uncharted series(I think uncharted 4 had a bigger hand for improving the gaming industry) and The last of us changed the gaming industry a lot due to their high graphics, environmental features and a great storyline which are just amazing. Due to this many games competed for better graphics and a good storyline. They even sold their games a lot..

Yes , i kinda agree with your point , Sony's first part games do also made huge impact in the industry but it is worth noting that indie studio like remedy studios also made a huge impact in industry with their Max Payne games , at that time it revolutionized ragdoll physics
My favourite games which was my childhood's golden experience.
1. GTA series was best for me and gta 3, vc and sa were the best games
2. Call of Duty should also be included in this video cuz that was my favourite 1st person shooting game
3. NFS was the golden game for me I mean that was a fun to play with friends in cafe.
4. IGI also deserves in the video bro, that was epic to play and I cannot forget about playing project igi for hours and hours.
5. Minecraft took it to next level cuz i am playing it from 2011 and at starting it was not a lot fun at all but currently it is my favourite game
bro u should also add doom series, golden eye 1997, halo series, resident evil series and metal gear series coz they also changed gaming like doom series was the 1st fps shooter game, golden eye brought more realistic and open world style to shooting genre

Doom series is also very influential game, it changed the bar for FPS shooting games.
That but what bought a revolutionary change to the whole FPS genre is basically Wolfstein, it has done more for FPS than DOOM has though both together made it great.

Rust and valheim are better survival games than Minecraft but nobody talks about that. Games like GTA 4, Sleeping Dogs, GTA SA, Skyrim, Witcher 3, Mafia are better than GTA 5 for so many.
