I am STILL pissed off about the rushed RE3 remake. I’m so old I remember when they announced and cancelled the remake on GameCube! All these years later I get a half ass remake using assets from the previous game. For contrast I’ve replayed RE2 a billion times now, but RE3 remake only once. I’ll never forgive you for that capcom!
Thanks for putting some spotlight on this game guys!. I feel like the fact it is a licensed game and that it comes from Steamforged (which have rather mixed track record), makes it suffer a bit within the hobby. It is one of my favorite dungeon crawls. It really translates the mechanics of the original games well: instead of trying to kill and engage with enemies, you need to focus more on evasion and crowd control, making combat, especially with basic weapons, more of a last resort.
I’m glad to see you guys revisit the RE Board Games and that’s great you enjoyed this one. I’m currently going through this campaign with my dad, he really enjoys the game. We even got like 5 scenarios done in one day 😂
The latest RE Board Game to come out is RE1 which came out last year. I highly recommend that one. They added a fog of war mechanic to it and other decks that make it very different from the first two board games.
nemesis difficulty card is picked based on the city danger level. you match the symbol of the card with the symbol of the danger level. it's also correct that Nemesis and other enemies will perform special attacks based on the color of the last picked tension card. I think you guys forgot to do reactions with Nemesis. After players shoot at Nemesis, I think he's supposed to attack immediately. Even on misses. So when Joe shot at him, he would've either hit other Joe or moved toward Joe, I forget the priority. I don't know if it was checked, but since Nemesis has a larger base, you need a larger Dodge symbol to evade too. Same if multiple enemies are on your square.
