Ok, Bo-mar hasn't been in buisness since 2007. So I doubt there're using New Old Stock Bo-Mar rear sights.
They weren't marked BOMAR, I bet they were made by Champion. I still have OG Bomar's from the 90's

Only in the used market, like many firearms.
I operated a custom gunsmith shop in the 80’s and 90's. My number one pistol I built for my customers was a 1911A1 with custom combat features. At one point I was turning out three a month. Being a peace officer, most of my customers were as well. I was proud to bring them some of the best combat 45s to carry on the streets to defend themselves with.
I look at the 1911A1 of today and I see many are set up much like what I built, but nowadays it's straight out of the box. I'm glad to see this. 👍
@@anangryranger I don't know if you knew this, but this pistol was built by Ed Brown. Classic 1980's Ed Brown Pistol.

I was referring to 1911A1s being built today. RIA is a prime example of affordable quality 1911A1s with excellent features that were only available by custom gunsmithing in the old days. 👍
