This video compares the graphics of Need for Speed Heat on PC, PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. PC is set to max graphics @2160p resolution, both consoles are set to 4K output. Consoles are locked to 30fps and use a dynamic Resolution that aims for 2160p, but honestly dont reach it. Some textures are loading late and the game suffers from pop ins in the open world at daylight. Also, SSR looks horrible especially on waters.
If you have the game on a Harddrive just defrag the game files. That should speed things up slightly the map still loads for half a minute but atleast it is better!

Well, the clear winner here is the PC. However, it is also the most expensive, the better graphics and performance you want, the more expensive they are. GPU's aren't cheap. Some gpu's are more expensive than a console itself, and that's just the gpu, there's also the motherboard and hard drives and ram + games. Not discouraging people from buying pc for gaming, I play on pc as well, it's just a heads up for those who hasn't made a decision yet between a console or pc.

The higher frame rate provided by the PC is a definite bonus. I'm "slumming it" on a standard PS4 and while 60 FPS would be nice, the solid 30 it is able to achieve after their recent update is sufficient but I completely understand the benefits of the higher frame rate regarding precision. Before the update, the game had a habit of dipping to the mid to lower 20s which made playing it somewhat nauseating. I think the main advantage of the PC is the better resolution and draw distances. On console, it can be difficult to clearly see objects beyond 200-300 yards or so. This is important for judging the distance to a corner and how sharp of a turn it is. It is also important when trying to determine the distance, speed, and exact position of oncoming traffic. The most recent update has improved the frame rate and stability though but I feel that graphical fidelity has taken a slight hit because of it. EA did say that these were temporary fixes though and I hope that with future updates they will be able to further optimize the graphics and performance. All this aside, it is still a decent looking game and is playable and enjoyable on console.
To be fair these consoles are doing okay for the price, the biggest advantage with pc will always be frame rates, my 2080ti was nearly 3x what an Xbox one x costs.

Graphics and fps is all you kids care about, but we veteran gamers care about Gameplay and story, kids these days are too spoiled for graphics. 30fps is ok to me btw atleast we have something.

Actually u can get high fps on ultra for just 500 bucks, the price of a console, thats why everybody goes to pc, cuz u can either pay the same and have better graphics and fps (plus mods etc), or pay a little more and make it last for many years, unlike console which when a new one comes out the last one is pretty much obsolete

This games graphics are not at all 2019 standart. Look at the trees and the grass from a distance. It looks like out of a PS2 game. Even on PC at Ultra... How did they think this was ok? Even 2015 has better graphics!
Time to sell my Xbox one X, Switch and desktop PC and get a high end laptop with portable pc gaming which also is backwards compatible with almost all consoles, free online and has indie games.
I have noticed certain bugs, there's a race that I have completed multiple times because it pays good but at about 60% completion of the race a freaking red car always appears in front of me and it's always the same car, same spot, every time, I know where it spawns so I now avoid it. Also, in some races sometimes I drive over a small patch of grass and it dramatically reduces my speed, let's say I'm going 150moh and that small patch of grass will slow me down to 50mph, but I can somehow easily run over palm trees, and fences. This is on PS4 PRO by the way.
I own a PlayStation 4 Pro but the game runs just fine at 1080p with a 1080p gaming curved monitor and I have grass and full details. You guys are fucking joking with all the shit.

Сглаживание чувак. Я играю на консольке и на пекарне, на пекарне графон чётче, больше деталей, лучше сглаживание. В том же ведьмаке у Геральта на компе каждую морщинку на лице видно и каждую волосинку. А на консоли мыло

This games graphics are not at all 2019 standart. Look at the trees and the grass from a distance. It looks like out of a PS2 game. Even on PC at Ultra... How did they think this was ok? Even 2015 has better graphics!

Anyone noticed the bug in car lights on ps4 pro version? I have the same problem :/
I have noticed certain bugs, there's a race that I have completed multiple times because it pays good but at about 60% completion of the race a freaking red car always appears in front of me and it's always the same car, same spot, every time, I know where it spawns so I now avoid it.
Also, in some races sometimes I drive over a small patch of grass and it dramatically reduces my speed, let's say I'm going 150moh and that small patch of grass will slow me down to 50mph, but I can somehow easily run over palm trees, and fences.
This is on PS4 PRO by the way.
