- This week's topic on the Facebook broadcast is on bezier drawing with StitchArtist Level 2. In StitchArtist L1, you have the ability to draw with points (see the first video on the StitchArtist playlist on the Embrilliance youtube channel for specifics!). In Level 2, they add the capability of bezier drawing. For those that are used to using a vector drawing program such as Illustrator, you may be familiar with drawing with beziers and how they can increase your speed when creating vector objects.
For those new to the concept think about how some dot-to-dot drawings work. In order to create smooth outlines, the lines you use to connect the dots may curve. Another tip you will learn about in the video is using angles to reduce the number of nodes which will create smoother curves especially when resizing or editing your objects.
Remember that if you currently own StitchArtist Level 1, you can upgrade to Level 2. You do not need to purchase the full version, just the upgrade.

After watching this video multiple times, I finally GOT it. Sometimes I have to click on the object several times before I get the little right click menu for curves, cusps, etc. The right click and the close shape, aka tomato button were game changers. I have a successful design on the machine right now ready to be finished. Thanks for taking the time to teach us.

Is there an actual place to type in what size I want my desiz instead of guessing and looking at the rulers?

can you make video talking about the thread ? meaning the way the design going to be threaded. because something when i thread my design it comes out crazy! it most likely the way the thread function is set but i don't know how to use it .
