For a 1-yo, at that. Baby boy won't even remember it! I have to admit I had all kinds of family over for my son's 1st, but we barbequed, had a Costco cake, and nothing over the top. I probably spent $150, tops - but got to see family, some of whom are no longer with us. It was all about the love.

So, they arrange for the party to meet at a swimming pool, roller skating, ice rink, horseback riding, bowling, etc……and wow, do THESE places cost. And one OTHER current trend is that the birthday kid “ must buy a gift for each child coming to the party “. 🤮
I thought that was cheap. I used to rent out movie theaters, have party’s at Magic Mountain, etc. I would also pay for all the adults that attended as well.

Second case…..this woman is horrible! He needs to adopt his daughter!
She knows that it's a chance her husband is not as calm as he's trying to seem. Look at the grip she's had on his arm the entire time. I believe the husband is just trying to save face but he is mad that his wife was with another man- she's afraid that this will break their relationship. The wife is immature; referring to the DNA test as being fake and saying she was ready to get out of there.
He didn't need to adopt his own daughter.
He fought the mother, it took him years but he finally got full custody. The mother & bf ran, left the state, hid the kid.

I've seen the 2nd case before. Mr. Dallas gave off scary vibes then, and still does today. The mother knows the truth, too, and is holding on to that man for dear life. All those babies need to be tested, the poor dears.
Why do women always say it's not about the money? My dad used to say he never saw a child on a pasture eating grass. Children have needs and that requires money .
What she said was her issue is about his being a parent to the child in all ways_ not just monetary support, which she clearly said more than once. She also said she was realistic in knowing that monetary assistance is very necessary in raising and caring for any child.

Update on the Butterfield/Bracknell. The mother and her current guy are both addicts and she lost custody of ALL of her kids. (I think there were three older boys.) The father (Butterfield) fought for YEARS to get custody of his daughter and he finally won custody.
