Yes he was money just from his look alone. He should've went over on Hogan at Wrestlemania 8. An unstoppable heel champion would've been good business for Vince.
Probably has a lot to do with Sid spending long segments of his career taking time off to play softball and rehab himself and probably not abusing the party drugs as much. No illusions he probably did do steroids but probably stayed away from drinking and coke.
@@dblocknyc But that's not his point. There are people who you wouldn't want to fight, just because of their size. Even in combat sports, there are weight classes for a reason. The shock master was doomed the moment some idiot said you are going to wear a glittered storm trooper helmet. The trip and fall was just the quick end.
Sid justice 1992 will always be the most underrated heel in wrestling history! As a 5 year old he legit scared the crap out of me and I honestly thought he was gonna murder hulk Hogan 😂
I wanted to hear his answer about his favorite version of his character. For me it's WCW Sid Vicious period. WWE always waters down intense characters who come with a reputation from another promotion.
You go back and watch that, Sid did so damn well staying intense and trying so hard to save that segment. He seriously was the unsung hero of the Shockmaster debut, LOL!
R.I.P. Sid Eudy. Watching this video, you can tell that Sid has cancer. He managed to keep his cancer diagnosis under wraps for the last few years of his life, up until the day he died.
A lot of the problems were on Sid's part. He didn't want to fully commit to things and always left during softball season, so that killed a lot of things he could do in the ring. No reason to build something for months to have the guy randomly say he was leaving to coach softball back home before a feud could finish adequately, and Sid really didn't care as long as he could do softball his gimmick or who he was wrestling with could go into the shitter.
He was an awful talker and was pretty mid in the ring. There were plenty of other bigger guys doing what Sid was to a higher standard. Plus, he was never committed to pro wrestling. So they did exactly what they should've with him.
I don't know how Sid kept a straight face and stayed in character while not laughing during the promo intro of the Shockmaster. Even the person who was doing the voice for the Shockmaster was laughing. That was one of the funniest wrestling promos ever. RIP Sid.
Sid!!! Did You play softball at Metro Park outside of Atlanta, on the Chattahoochee River? I remember they had a bar there, adult softball, & seeing Scott Steiner there, in the mid 90s? .. I always pictured Sid playing there, even if he never did haha!! Love Sid Vicious! Underrated af!

Yes
Should have had him remain babyface and beat a heel Hogan at WM8. The crowd cheered him eliminating Hogan at the Rumble
