Haha! This does highlight the importance of the incidental music at conveying the mood. I think someone did a solo harmonica version of the Jurassic Park theme once to the same effect! The fact that this scene has not been rendered completely ridiculous by the removal of the music (and insertion of the other sound effects) does show how well made the show was in all other areas. Janos Prohaska as the Mugatu knew what he was doing to convey the danger of the animal (he had also previously played the Horta in "The Devil In The Dark" if memory serves). But at the same time, yes, we're not gasping as much without Gerald Fried's contribution.
That...... was very funny Dave

Could've inserted a boing sound for the rock the Doc threw...LOL!
Ha ha! Yeah my first attempt at "foley editing". LoL There's a "whoosh" sound when he throws it but it's way too quiet. But it was fun!
Brilliant!!
OMG hahahahha the teeth bite!!!! Hahahahaha!!!! Too funny David!!!!
🤣
Hilarious!
Love it. So real!
Wait a second. Why did the Mugatu fart when he got hit by the phaser beam?
[Thar's somethin' mighty peculiar goin' on around here.]
😁 Must be the parallel universe!
I'm not sure that was accurate
Way off! 😄
