Keith is our greatest living pianist. His range and skill are so astonishing and unparallelled by any living player. So sorry to hear that he's lost his ability to play due to a couple of strokes. It's certain he will not recover enough to play again.. And with Gary gone now, this trio is sadly finished. I've enjoyed the incredible output of these gentleman ever since Standards Vol. 1. and have seen them live and bought many more albums. And I got to see Keith in one of his last solo tours in San Francisco a few years ago. His ability to fully express what he feels at any given moment is a powerful lesson for us all. To go into the unknown, fearlessly and with unbound joy has been the lifeblood of Keith's legacy. His otherworldly technique and passion are blessing for this earth, for many lifetimes to come.
there is nothing worse than ANOTHER jazz pianist copying Keith Jarrett. Believe me, there are THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS like you. All sounding the same, even the body movements, the voice, etc, etc, etc, etc.
@@camilledelorme3853 EXACTLY, that's why when someone says he/she is INFLUENCED by Keith Jarrett it means he/she is COPYING HIS STYLE SHAMELESSLY. It is happening everywhere for many years. No worries, there are ZILLIONS of COLTRANE IMITATORS around.
I've had this bootleg for years and believe its probably the single greatest Jarrett Trio concert of them all.btw the correct song title is ''Between The Devil And The Deep Blue SEA.....''

@@andradas9688 there is a difference between being inspired by someone's playing and copying someone.

OTAVIO Apperantly you don’t know the difference between influencing and copying.Check it for yourself.
Consider what I said a FAVOR. But you dont need to thank me. Stop saying you are "influenced" by KJ. Find your style or STOP.
Keith,wonderful!

Please help, I can't find a CD of this amazing concert anywhere!
I never liked the title tune of Sinatra-Riddle's master wrist-slasher until hearing Keith play it.
Is it possible to buy this album at Stores ?
Is this recorded in the Tivoli Gardens Concert Hall???
No, it is recorded in “Cirkusbygningen” - and I had the privilige of being there that magical night!
