I agree, Delagates can do that easily, by simply adopting an age limit to be entered into nomination, which would itself be a HUGELY popular policy for the party to adopt. This will prevent Biden from even being entered into nomination and thus no one will even need to break their first round pledge. The Delagates are completly UNBOUND with regard to voting on the rules, and the rules are the first thing that happens at the convention.

@@DanieHattinghI remember thinking the same thing. Maybe no one ever actually said that, but most of us inferred it. One term to beat trump, and the subsequent 4 years would be spent identifying the next generation of leaders.
Biden running for another for another term is selfish and will absolutely turn out to be a huge mistake.

It seems to me, the RIGHT replacement for Joe Biden might be, Joe Biden! That is, Joe Biden for VP, and Kamala Harris for President! That would give the Democratic ticket the wisdom of Joe’s long experience, PLUS the strength and vigor of Kamala’s relative youth (she’s also quite experienced), all on one ballot! It’s PERFECT! We can put Nancy P. back in 3rd place in line for POTUS, a roll for which she is old, but healthy and otherwise perfectly positioned.

I believe Michelle Obama would bring a spark to the Democratic party. She's intelligent, sharp and savvy.
