The broadcasting industry in ireland has had a huge change in recent years as the media industry has transformed through social media. Those trained in broadcasting are now being replaced with social media stars across all media platforms. 📻
In the past year we've seen numerous scandals here in Ireland within our public broadcaster RTÉ and this has lead to a number of changes to regulate what clearly was the wild wild west in terms of spending but also incomes for the presenters at the top. 🎙️
As new changes are about to be introduced a number of the top media presenters within RTÉ are abandoning ship as why would you bother putting yourself under the scrutiny of the public eye when you can monetise your audience which you've gained from it. 👀
