- KITT enters super pursuit mode in order to survive an encounter with a battering ram.
From season 4 Episode 1 "The Knight of The Juggernaut" Michael goes to Chicago on an assignment to guard a valuable isotope. Elsewhere, Wilton Knight's daughter unexpectedly suspends FLAG's operations and Michael and KITT find themselves out of a job. Meanwhile, an international terrorist kidnaps Devon Miles and replaces him with a surgically altered impostor as a plot to get his hands on the isotope. Devon's changed behavior alerts Michael's suspicions and he disobeys orders to "take a vacation" until he finds out what is going on. Clues lead to a warehouse, where KITT's molecular bonded armor is unknowingly neutralized by a chemical sprayer on a nearby street, and he and Michael are attacked by an armored vehicle KITT cannot defend against.
Knight Rider (1982) Michael Long recovers from a fatal gunshot wound in the face. With a new look, he assumes a fresh identity as Michael Knight and wages a war against criminals with his indestructible supercar, KITT.

I think, knight rider is greatest tv series what is ever made in a whole history, this car kitt and Michael Knight did it, i still like this series so much, like i did in 80's, it was at time my favorite ever

Well Kitt uses hydrogen as gas but it could use any other flammable liquids

I think KITT got some form of computer jollies off of being in SPM.
"Soldiers Field?!?" KITT, KITT, for shame! It's "Soldier Field!" I know I'm nitpicking, but I was born in Chicago, and I can't abide by that gaffe!
If we're going down that route, KITT is also going the wrong way, heading north on Lake Shore Drive when they really should be going south to what used to be Miegs Field airport.
Why does he scream "Turbo" before hitting Turbo 🙄
It's for dramatic effect. Michael is rarely quiet before turbo boost. Remember in the same episode when they're getting ambushed Kitt says we may not clear the trailer and Michael says no choice pal Hit It! turbo boost
Because the ramrod was about the fuel truck with his explosive contact detonator. The fear of not wanting to get blown up.

It's the same footage every time it gets deployed.
Yeah, because theres not actually a car that deploys the pieces like that. Each one is just a prop so theres really only one angle it can be filmed from.
