Haines Hunter 625 Offshore - BaldMan Fishing Sydney

The BaldMan has not been on the water for a while but takes the opportunity to sea trial a Haines Hunter 625 Offshore. Heading out from Sydney Harbour he first gathers some live baits and then ventures north to seek some reef fish. The weather was perfect but probably too good as it was a tough days fishing. Any tips for getting live bait inside the spit?!

Usually get my baits from different areas outside the spit ... If you Burley enough near some structure can’t see why you still wouldn’t get yakkas ... at night near spit bridge see plenty of gar fish, squid

@@BaldManFishing only got a little tinnie so I don’t like going outside of the spit much. Haven’t had much luck with livies. Only odd ones here n there. Haven’t given squidding a proper go but I will tomorrow, It’s looking dead still in the morning. When’s your next trip?
