- Gilles Panizzi testing Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX on Gunsai Touge used by Best Motoring.
Q: What do you think of the new EVO IX?
A: Two things: First thing, the car handles better in corners, it's more stable, more precise on the vertical movements, therefore cornering is faster. Second thing, the turbo response is quicker, more reactive, and it has more power on lower rpm's. In overall new car behaves more "racing".

No heel and toe?
He never did. Not once. It's not essential. Especially in rally where you always throw the car around anyway.
@@radityaindera3442 yes and it lead the car to more late braking and save much more time
imagine letting this pro drive your car at the autocross and thinking he will put the best lap time and know how to drive the car. Only to get the car back and the car doesn't feel right any more Lol.
@@LoveLikeaHurricaneNo heel and toe won't ruin the car.
@@michiel5160 If you're just Cruising around town, sure, nothing bad will happen, but at High RPM's like this, refusing to rev-match is going to prematurely wear your clutch. Not to mention that they're causing a lot of instability in the suspension.
A Car's transmission is designed to have the engine push the wheels, when you dont rev-match, there's a moment when you let out the clutch where the wheel's are pushing the engine.
