Lol when you do i imagine it will be very addictive i know it is for me I love getting out and exploring with trail trucks and crawlers you start seeing places to drive everywhere lol
Another AWESOME review & fantastic video. You my friend are the person that got me into r.c crawling a few years back after watching some of your videos. I brought my miss a RGT EX86110 Pioneer, (her 1st day out using my Gen8 Axe had her hook) put aluminum wheels, better tyres, brass wheel weights & aluminum portal axles. It is a beast. A MASSIVE THANK YOU for ALL your efforts uploading & reviewing
@@AdventureTimeRC You have brought so much joy, fun & adventure to both my & my miss life. We have organised wknd's away & many days r.c rock crawling. Bought this one.....installed a 35 turn 370 motor, 35kg waterproof steering servo, 108mm RC4WD Rock Crusher tires mounted to weighted RC4WD steel beadlocks. Performs super, and is smoothest crawler I have...... Steering is adjustable to a really tight angle.....from the radio.....
LOVE this rig.!! Love the real thing, so this rig is already on top of my list. Anything Jimny and I'm all in. This one looks really good. Very cool my friend.!
Got mine on ebay for $96.00 USD (new) the RGT 136100V3 lime green with free super fast shipping (got it in 4 days). Added another $60.00 usd in upgrades. Tires Dick Cepek Mud Country 100mm, front stinger bumper with winch. CB antenna. Also added two LED quad pods up by the A pilers. Added some 3mm amber turn signals LED'S up front on top and some 5mm bright white LED'S below in the bumper. Changed out the servo to a 15kg I had from my Redcat Gen8 Scout II. Looks really cool and preforms greet. Also added 70g weights inside of wheels and changed out the memory foam. The added weight really made it stable. Also running a 2S 7.4 lipo battery. Put earth magnets in front ( not fussing with those clips). For a total of $160. USD I'm really happy. And as mentioned in the reveiw that 390 motor does pretty darn good. Thanks for your review.
I really like the looks on this one. The lime green one was pretty cool. 😃 We are headed out on vacation so I might not be around much for a few weeks. Have a great day and be safe out there!
This is very impressive, way better than I thought it would do for the money, for me personally in the $200 range the redcat gen 7 is pretty tough to beat.
Nice ti see an RGT review. Been really happy with the 7 I have. The servos seem a bit week. Have done some serious mudding with them. Good looking rtr. Run all of mine on 3s, but they have their previous esc
The chassis reminds me a lot of my FTX Outback, but then RGT do the same cars as them. The receiver/esc seems to have a good pedigree unlike FTX one I killed it. The built in options on the controller very nice.
Awesome review dude! I got into crawling like two three months ago and decided to purchase this rig a few weeks ago. Already recorded some very basic & short footage. And now I ordered some upgrades - 35kg waterproof servo, metal arm for it, 4 pieces of new shocks & 108mm 1.9" tires (the stock are 100mm). I was wondering if I can out 2.2" but I doubt. Maybe squeeze in 2.2" rims onto 1.9" tires for a better outlook. I'm fresh into the crawling but I'd like to say - it's super satisfying overcoming obstacles!
Thank you for watching I have been doing lots of mods to mine to 2.2 will not fit lol I just put 1.9 baja Clara on mine brass hex extensions and made brass links for it im getting ready to weld a higher clearance bumper up for the front
I got this one for my son and if you are new to the hobby IT IS NOT A BUDGET crawler, simply because: 1. You have to buy new lipo battery plus charger 2. Have to change steering servo 3. Have to weigh down the unit because it turns turtle easily 4. Plastic parts break easily It was still a joy to run but many inconveniences along the way.
I think it's a pretty good setup myself, I'm gonna save my pennines up so I can buy one. There around £200 in the UK, hopefully I'll find a cheaper price. Nice crawler track BTW mate. 😎
@@AdventureTimeRC ya I was looking at the wiring in the receiver and their wasn't anything plugged into slot 3 So I traced thr yellow and black wire and plugged it into the 3 slot which is for head lights... they all seem to work except tail lights... those work with blinkers only.. also what battery do you use the one out of the box only lasts 10 mins
I ordered one! Will you please share links to tires and servo you'd suggest? I have big rocks and soft dirt terrain. Will help a lot new to the hobby! Love your vids subbed.

Great review, I really enjoyed that. Really like the look of these - especially for the money. Didn't realise about the 390 motor though. It looked like there's no room for anything bigger to even fit. Is that right? 👍
I am very impressed with my RGT Jimny. 👏 At the moment I drive it with NiMh batteries. What do you mean? Does it run without problems with 2S Lipo batteries if you switch to Lipo on the remote control?
Well I got one of these and it is great BUT the wiring in them has a lot to be desired for. You are better off pulling the wire out for your lights as it will come out every time you try to lift the body if you aren't careful. If you take it off the clips that hold it to give you moor room you run the risk of it getting caught around you wheels as I have don with the yellow wire. You will still have indicators just no lights.
@@AdventureTimeRC It is a tricky one tho as to how to run the wires so as you can lift the body without having to worry about pulling them out or hanging to loos and running the risk of getting them caught on debree or your wheels.
Heei man, nice review but i wanna ask you do you know can this work with 3s(11,1v) lipo baterry? My girl really like the ftx version of this but i see is not enought power😁

Well, It's had its day. I haven't had my Suzuki Jimny for more than a few months and I have had nothing but trouble with it right from the start. First, it was running in reverse all the time and I found out it was wired around the wrong way, and then after just three uses the server burnt out, and now it just goes in reverse whenever it likes even if you haven't got your hand on the controls. As I got it from Amazon I have no comeback and they won't give me a refund so I just have to count it off as a bad loos. TO THE SUZUKI JIMNY COMPANY I WILL NEVER BUY FROM YOU PACK OF THIEVES AGAIN.
