I read ‘A Man Called Ove’ this year because of you and it was probably my fav book it made me cry/laugh so much and I’m already looking forward to rereading it sometime this 2025. Also I read/loved Kristen Hannah’s ‘The Nightingale’ and if you haven’t already you definetly should make the time to read it cos it was soooo good! I love a novel that rips my heart out basically 😂 also so proud that I hit 77 books this year since I just got back in to reading a little over a year ago 🎉 going for 100 this next year! 💜
This year I read 43 books. Which is amazing for me because I used to hate reading and this year I fell in love. The seven year slip was in the top favourites 💛Can’t wait to add your recommendations to my list! ❤❤
I'm glad you're OK and making videos again. Good luck with your applications! Raw Dog was also one of my favorite books of the year and I gotta thank you for the recommendation. I don't think I could have continued enjoying hot dogs after reading the book, but that's because I already don't like them. (Also, I'll reveal my location and say I live near where the Tyson Food managers were taking bets on how many people would get Covid, and that's the attitude of many employers around here. Gross.)
I just started the video (and it's the first I've seen of yours) but I just have to say, your vibes and energy are so amazing and positive!! ✨I can't wait to watch and add some of your favorites to my TBR ❤
You might not believe this but I’m genuinely actually currently watching run with the wind, almost halfway now and I have the same sentiments as you!! My entire heart is attached to it
Nice to see you and Figaro. I hope you get in your grad school of choice and your January is less chaotic. My top 2 books were Natural Beauty by Ling Ling Huang and Diary of a Confused Feminist by Kate Weston.
Some of my favorite books of the year were: when in Rome by Sarah Adams, Academy of Villains by Ever King, The Rose Bargain by Sasha Peyton Smith (Got an ARC for it), Assistant to the Villains by Hannah Nicole Maehrer, A Million Junes by Emily Henry, and A Short Walk Through a Wide World by Douglas Westerbeke. I think if you haven’t read these that you would enjoy them.
Great list! I loved A Flicker in the Dark, it was one of my first thrillers I read 😍 I really want to get into the Veronica Speedwell series cause it sounds right up my alley! Hoping to get to Blue Sisters and The Wedding People in 2025. Here’s my top 10 of 2024 (from least to most favorite): Just For The Summer Remarkably Bright Creatures Tress of the Emerald Sea The God of the Woods Seven Days in June Piranesi The Things We Cannot Say Words of Radiance Beartown Six of Crows
TIA! She’s back!!! ❤happy new year!!! I’m doing a new challenge this year where I read my favorite bookish content creators recommendations. I would be DELIGHTED if I could get a rec from you. I’m open to any genre ❤🎉
TIAAA, I hope your grad apps are going well. I’m finally reading more lit fic so I’m super excited to check out some of your favs!! The secret lives of church ladies is one of my favorite books this year and probably of all time lol beautifully written short story collection about black women navigating sexuality and religion, highly recommend 🫶🏾
