I also get the feeling that they are decorative in nature, and are needed in order to resurrect a person and from time to time transfer aggression onto oneself
I hate sniper Nids as assault. I can't count the number of times I went airborne to clear out a giant mob and got a bead put on me, it's a guaranteed hit for them.
Same mate, hate them so much. My solution is that i kitted my perks so that i can be majoris slayer. You see them sniper, you jump on them, and pound them to dead. Ways to do this is the same, though i sacrifice more gunstrike damage and recharge on groundpound kills for fix recharge rate, that way you can jump frequently and more reliably.
It's incredible for blowing up Spore Mines and the barb stranglers instantly and from really far away, and it hip fires extremely precisely with no recoil or "bloom". IMO, it's mediocre at best when it comes to dealing with Minoris enemies, it feels like you have to hold it on a gaunt's head for too long to try to kill crowds with, so it struggles with crowd control, and the ammo economy isn't great. The gunstrike does do a splash explosion, but it doesn't seem like that actually does any damage other than the gunstrike itself. That being said, it's super easy to aim and when multiple people are focusing their Volkites on the Hive Tyrant's head, they all stack with each other to cause explosions like every 1.5-2 seconds, so with a group of them you can focus down a Terminus or Extremis really nicely. It has a TON of range. It definitely feels much, MUCH better at Artificer tier or higher. Feels super weak at white tier or Master Crafted, as most weapons do.
This is a high skill level weapon for solo players. If you are good at dodging, sure go ahead. If you got friends, even better, go ahead, and it is sure much better. If you are solo, and not much high skilled, stick with the heavy bolt pistol. Safer, snappier, and could really help you in a pinch. Use this pistol for melta vanguard, much better that way. The advantage is this pistol can shred on single target, majoris and up, provided you can keep the beam on them, the discharge deal incredible damage. Very accurate hipfire. The disadvantage is the beam deal low damage, you need a discharge to do any significant damage. Work shite on minoris except for spore and strangler (as mentioned in other comment). I said it was high level play, cause if you got heavy hit and want to recover contested health, don’t count on this pistol, it recover gradually and (in my opinion,) it slow. During solo play, (at least for me) enemy are very aggressive on you and focus on you s shit load so chances are it is very hard to keep the beam on them (especially those zoans).
Es mejor la pistola pesada porque como asalto vas a recibir mucho daño en oleadas, y la pistola pesada te permite recuperar mas eficientemente la salud disputada. La neo es buena para jefes o enemigos extremis.
@@IloveGorgeousGeorge Since everyone has been trying it out I can't tell you how many matches I've been in with vanguard/assault/bulwark being the party. The first time it was obvious we all had it at relic tier was pretty amazing, it is just like you say with everyone stacking it up the explosions are constant and you melt majoris/extremis/terminus. If everyone aims at a different part of the mob it can do well vs minoris waves too. That being said I switched back to Plasma Pistol on Bulwark. I feel that is still overall the best pistol, especially for the role it plays for Bulwark. I'm sticking with the Neo Volkite on Assault (the Heavy Bolt pistol is a nice option still though) and Vanguard.
@@Kasian02 other guy have said why carry krak is not always the solution, and you have to have a reliable range weapon to deal with those zoan. I’ll just add, shock grenade work too, it create a damaging zone midair. Also, frag grenade also deals small damage if throw beneath them.
Where your frustration with the bots just standing there…

is neo volkite pistol better than heavy bolt pistol for assault? Can you tell me what advantages and disadvantages are? want to know your opinion

The other two comments already explained in detail so I will just give short answer. Heavy Bolt Pistol is generally better.

If this doesn't get updated anymore what other games are for you?
It’s a saber game it’ll still get updated look at world war z and this has way more players and money made
I hate Zontrops, probably the most annoying thing in this game😒
You are not alone mate, i hate them to the bone.
That's why you need to carry krak grenades because they oneshot zonetropes.
@@Kasian02 this is a good solution, I agree, but they are not always available to solve this problem
@@Kasian02 Also, detonating a melta bomb under a zonthrope also kills it, but it must be detonated under it
