    My life just got easier!!! I am doing this TODAY! I have been making my husband a gallon of tea every day for a few months now to take to work. He doesn't like the quick brew we grew up with so I do it like sun tea in a gallon glass jug and it brews overnight. Every. Single. Night I have to prepare it. This technique will save me so much time in the mornings when I am making his breakfast and packing his lunch. I don't really enjoy it or ANYTHING at 4 a.m. Mega thanks for creating and posting your video.

    I am going to make the concentrate without sugar, going to sweeten with stevia when I use it. I have been keto now for 3 months and my pain is so reduced. When I took the sugar out of my diet 90% of my pain went away. It is not for everyone, but it is working for me.

We are going on a nine day glamping (camper) trip next month, so I'm going to can up some tea concentrate to take along. You are a genius, girl! I hope you're doing well!

  • @marilyncausey9348
    @marilyncausey9348 5 місяців тому

    Okay. Hear me out. What if we make the tea (fully) and can it in quarts? Seems like it would be the same canning process, just make the tea (not a concentrate) and can it. I'm going to can up four quarts. We often have family and friends drop by and they always ask if I have sweet tea. If I have a quart canned up, I'd just open and pour over ice!

      I use a liquid chalk marker from the craft department. once it dries, it stays on until it gets wet, and it helps me to cycle through on sight - I use a different color every year. It rinses right off.

Do you add Lennon to raise acidity or is the video I seen just putting fear in my head ?!!? Lol

      I have always water bath canned it with no problems, but I am a rebel canner. I do not add lemon to it. This is one of those things that there are 2 schools - either OK with water bath processing or not, and it depends on how rebel you are. Do what you are most comfortable with in your kitchen.

    Hi! I love this idea, and we go through so much tea! Is there was a point after processing that the tea gets that tannin taste? How long have you been able to keep it without it going bad? I am excited, but I tend to go overboard and I don't want to waste it! Thanks!
